Wonderful boutique hotel with a very nice staff. Wish we could have stayed there longer.

Comfortable hotel. The staff were kind and attentive. We parked just outside the hotel on the street and it was very cheap. Also a good location to walk around the city

The staff at Avenida was amazing 👏 They made our stay extra special and they made us feel at home. I want to especially mention Bella. She is the kindest sweetest soul. She went out of our way to care for us and assisted us during our stay. She works faithfully with lots of love ❤️. WE WILL BE BACK.

L’hôtel est vraiment bien situé. Nous avons tout fait à pied. L’endroit pourrait sembler bruillant mais ne l’est pas. Un mini Mercado juste à côté. Le personnel était vraiment sympathique. J’y retournerai certainement

Because we had to set off so early in the morning they did our breakfast for 6.30 in the morning

Nice hotel in good location - great character, but showing age a little - loungerooms & dining rooms very pleasant - room & bed quite small, but very clean & acceptable at a good price - very short walk to cafes & old city - limited parking, but we had no problem

Our room was a bit small for 3 people so we asked if there was a larger room. The reception gent was more than happy to change the room immediately and the new room was very comfortable. Reception staff more than helpful and brought us tea / coffee after hours. Communal lounge rooms on each floor very nice and relaxing. Breakfast was ok.

O estabelecimento informa ter estacionamento disponível, porém quando lá chegamos. Não há! A funcionária disse, o “estacionamento é por na rua”

Der erste Eindruck des Hotels ist recht gut: Ein hübsches Gebäude mit einer netten Inneneinrichtung und u. a. einem stylisches Leseraum. Dann jedoch die Zimmer: Eine zusammengewürfelte Einrichtung, bei der kaum etwas zusammenpasst. Ein sehr kleines „Fertigbad“ in einer einfachen Kunststoff-Anmutung, immerhin mit einer fast bodengleichen Dusche. Im Zimmer keine Haken, kaum Ablagen, nicht einmal ein Kofferständer. Positiv: Das Bett ist bequem, der Fernseher sehr groß (aber nur mit Deutscher Welle als einzigem deutschsprachigem Programm). Hübscher Frühstücksraum, aber nahezu alle Bestandteile des Frühstücks sind von eher einfacher, „kostengünstiger“ Qualität: Supermarkt-Marmelade, Kaffee mit Muckefuck-Geschmack, Billig-Teilchen, geringe Obstauswahl etc. Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum, dafür gibt’s jedoch reichlich Verkehrslärm inkl. einer tönenden Ampel und aktuell eine sehr laute Baustelle im Nachbarhaus. Insgesamt hätten wir uns von einem 4 Sterne-Hotel und erst recht von einem Boutique-Hotel erheblich mehr erwartet - und an anderen Orten in Portugal auch erlebt.
