I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Dar Dorra Hotel, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! This amazing new property is a true gem nestled in the heart of the old city. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by its authentic charm and stunning design. The hotel is impeccably clean and spotless, reflecting a level of care and attention to detail that is truly commendable. Each corner of the property exudes a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the rich history and vibrant culture of Tunis. Being in the old city allows for easy access to local markets, historic sites, and delightful eateries, making it an ideal base for any traveler. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast offered each morning. It was a delightful way to start the day, with a variety of fresh, flavorful options that catered to all tastes. Overall, my experience at Dar Dorra Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. If you’re looking for a charming, authentic, and conveniently located place to stay in Tunis, I highly, highly recommend this hotel. You won’t be disappointed!

This was a great stay in the medina. Exceptionally clean, great service and very comfortable beds. The rooftop is lovely as well for breakfast and a few drinks. Would highly recommend staying here

Charming hotel in the Medina, beautiful property with swimming pool and spa

This stunning hotel checked all the boxes for us. We only stayed one night, and we wished we would have been able to spend more time here. The spa was heavenly. We also enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the rooftop restaurant. It felt luxurious and modern, but is in a historic remodeled location in the medina. It is truly stunningly beautiful. You will not regret staying here. We hope to be back for a longer stay. As a note, Dar Dorra is part of Dar ElJeld. So when looking for the entrance, you enter at the door for Dar ElJeld.

Wonderful

One of the most beautiful boutique hotels. The restaurants were equally amazing - one rooftop skyline views and the other with traditional architectural features. I would travel back to Tunis and not leave the hotel. Make your appointments at the spa because it gets booked up.

Beautiful interiors (plural, for the many halls, courtyards, staircases,etc.). Nice small room. Great breakfast on beautiful terrace overlooking the old city. Only problem was a dingy torn up carpet

Stayed with my son for a short break, the staff were very attentive and polite. The room was decent size and clean.

Well redone old property. Super nice staff. In a great part of the Medina. Superb terrace. Silent a/c. Free water, Lavazza expressoes, sweets, dates and chocolate! They take care of you. The less expensive rooms have a bit of a low ceiling, so not for tall people. Highly recommended! Did I mention free sauna???

The hotel is gorgeous!. A fantastic introduction to Tunis. The room is more than expected with a comfortable bed, lounge area & large bathroom. Location is excellent. Thank you to the amazing staff, very helpful. Excellent breakfast & restaurant. The spa is great. Fatima gives a great massage. The hammam was intresting & was happy I had it. Thank you girls in the spa area I had great laugh. I will defiantly come back to Dar dora.

This hotel is truly amazing. I unexpectedly got stuck in Tunisia for an extra night, and I knew I had to return to Dar Dorra (I had stayed there before) to make myself feel better lol vs staying in another hotel. Even the small rooms are impeccably decorated and so comfortable.

The is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! The hotel is so beautiful, and the interior designs were impeccable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and so comfortable. I wish I could stay here again!

Dar Dorra is connected to a larger hotel Dar El Jeld. My room was small and cosy, probably too small for a couple but perfect for a solo trip. Everything was clean and the service was great. The rooftop had great views and the waiting staff were all polite and professional. The breakfast room service was perfect. The only one slight issue I had was with the bathroom window, although it was frosted, from the outside at night, I felt as though the inside would still be quite visible with light on so I was quite wary having a shower. Apart from that everything was perfect, loved the small touches and the thought put into making sure it was a comfortable stay, as well as the unexpected gift of chocolates and oranges in the evening.

Great place to stay!

Absolute exceptional - best hotel in Tunis. If you are reading this book now, best hotel we have ever stayed in, and due to the exchange rate unbelievable value for money. The restaurant and hammam/spa are also both fantastic, we used both daily.

What a gem. Great location, fantastic facilities, helpful staff. Would love to stay again.
