The location can't be beat, but I wouldn't recommend this listing for those looking for higher-end accommodations. The staff were friendly, helpful, and available to answer questions. Would be nice if 'small fees' like storing luggage were baked into the nightly rate rather than tacked on. Overall, a satisfactory stay.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The listing is misleading because it only shows the interior and does not accurately represent the entrance or surrounding area. Had I seen the outside, I would never have booked this hotel. We arrived after 1:00 a.m. and found numerous homeless individuals outside the entrance. The hotel even instructs guests to use a different entrance at night and buzz to get in because unauthorized people try to enter the building. The parking area they recommended behind the hotel felt even less safe, with people openly using drugs nearby. We did not feel comfortable leaving our rental car there or walking through the area at night. What was most disappointing was the lack of any visible security or effort to make guests feel safe, especially when nearby hotels appeared much more secure. Before checking in, I called to explain we didn't feel safe. We were told that checking in meant no refund, so at 2:00 a.m. we had to find another hotel and pay for a second room. The next morning they refused to refund the unused nights, saying they "couldn't rent the room again." The person identifying himself as the director ended the conversation by saying, "Do whatever you want. Sue me. I'm looking forward to it." This experience costs additional for an alternate hotel, left us stranded in the middle of the night, and was handled with complete indifference. I strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

No full length-mirror, Portable aircon. A convenience store accross, sketchy place - accross the street there are people who do weed. Unfriendly staff. Provided toiletries: tiny shampoos, tiny soap, 2 bathroom tissues, towels.

It was a nice hotel. Parking was a little frightening, and one of the lights didn’t work, but it was good. For the price I’d definitely recommend. Great part of town.

Fantastic location for a concert at MTelus and super close to dozens of restaurants and shops. The room was clean and the A/C was nice a cold. I would recommend and I would stay again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is right next to the entrance to Les Francos de Montreal music festival and close to other downtown locations Our plans changed as we had to leave early after one night as we booked for 2 nights. The hotel manager Cheickna was very understanding and gave us a refund.

When I first arrived someone was clearly squatting in my room. They had left spools of copper wire in the room and tried to enter my room late at night. I eventually found them drinking in the tiny lobby of the hotel. The staff during the day are helpful and nice but one of the nightshift workers was very lazy and rude. That side of town also gets very sketchy at night.

Very nice, modest place. Great value for money. Location is great. It is a quite lively neighbourhood on weekends, but the air conditioner drowned out any noise. Its an old building, but the room and fixtures looked mostly new.

Great small spot right in the heart of St Catherine Street.. lots of action on the street at night ... a little seedy in places... but all.kinds of energy and vibes Room is a little on the warm side at night even with yhe window AC Parking nearby (across the street underground) Would stay there again as long as you like the street vibes - would recommend a solo woman's stay or have young children But ill stay there again

An overnight stay was lovely in this hotel. Beautiful fresh linens and comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again!

Staff was condescending. Extra charges added to booking but can’t provide a receipt on payment…. Would not recommend. Friend and I slept very poorly as the bed was old and worn. But it was very quite considering it being St.Chaterine

This hotel doesn’t show the actual pictures of the establishment itself, it is in terrible conditions from the lobby to the actual rooms. Left as soon as I saw my room and contacted the owner to assess the situation and I was denied any type of refund for the nights I had the reservation. Do not stay in this hotel.

Very convenient location. Very helpful staff. Spacious and clean room. Good value. Air conditioning was noisy and area had homeless people early in the morning.
