It has a lot of good accomodations, very close to the pool

Absolutely one of the best experiences I have had. This resort exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. I am already looking for another opportunity to come back. Staff are very polite and friendly, food was delicious, and the beach was amazing. Several bilingual staff to support me but Jefferson was hands down an integral part of my trip. He is a delight and kept in contact with me throughout my staff to ensure everything was perfect for me. 10/10

Playa Palmera Beach Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, may look appealing in photos, but I strongly recommend doing deeper research or choosing a different resort if you’re looking for a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay — somewhere that delivers on its promises, values its guests, and takes customer satisfaction seriously. Unfortunately, Playa Palmera did none of that.

I loved everything except there aren’t comforters on the beds. And sleeping with AC every bed should have comforter or at least extra sheets.

I really enjoyed the fact that even though it’s a pretty big space you couldn’t tell. It was quiet and peaceful and the workers are very nice and friendly. Will definitely go back because I felt so secure and safe with my two boys. Loved it.

They should provide more details about what is offered and share more information on site

It was a great stay

The staff was wonderful, and the facilities were very nice, but the place seemed mostly deserted. On the plus side, it was easy to get a beach lounger, but it was just kind of a weird vibe. But then the last day, we went to get breakfast at the beach, and the restaurant was being torn down, and there were military guys standing around. Just bizarre, and the staff couldn't tell us what was going on. Later in the day, we were at the pool, and the bar was out of everything except rum. After leaving, we found a news article that the resort didn't get some permit that was required, so if booking I would be worried the whole place is going to be closed down. We had a good time, but at the end things seemed really fishy. Hopefully it all gets sorted out.

This was my first stay in Punta Cana and I loved it. The property staff were helpful and attentive. There was a language barrier, but overall the property was amazing. Rafael and Maya from concierge were extremely helpful. The only downside of the property was the mosquitoes in the room. I kept getting bit, but that did not change my experience. I will definitely be back.

The resort overall is good, with excellent location and so much potential. The management and the services however bring the prestige of the place down immensely. The staff although kind, is not helpful at all, and that applies to reception and concierge. It took 5 days to have a broken shower replaced despite several reports and people coming to the apartment WITHOUT any tools to 'have a look'. This was urged through concierge in person and through WhatsApp, where we were being ignored, as well as reception telling us to make sure to be in at certain time 3 times to ensure someone can come in, and nobody shoed up and we waisted the whole day waiting. Another concierge has 'booked' a trip for us to Monkeyland with a small baby, only she FORGOT to put us on the list despite us asking several times if all was confirmed, and the coach refused to take us, resulting into the female concierge having to drive us to the town herself to catch another bus. The reception staff although kind and nice is not much helpful in resolving any issues or advising on nearby activity options etc. Restaurants food is average to good, but the service is extremely slow, and we waited 1.5-2hrs or more for a simple meal each time we visited any of the restaurants in the resort, which has made us jist want to cook ourselves. I loved my stay at playa plamera. The reviews don’t do this resort justice. Everything was fantastic and I will be staying there again.

House keeper need to be more happy and smile more. They looked angry and frustrated. It’s a beautiful place very expensive. They take advantage of Americans money wise.
