It was like being invited to a wealthy family member’s home. Nothing like walking into any other hotel. The staff, even those who we had not previously interacted with, took time to greet us and know our names and room number. The The building is exquisite, the room appointed with art, glasswork, books to make it feel like home. The breakfast was delicious and the restaurant beautiful. A lovely way to start busy days in Venice which gives ample opportunity for walking off the hearty meal. When we booked the hotel it was more expensive than what we typically do but worth every bit.

Room was clean and the property is beautiful with some beautiful artworks. Staff was nice and pleasant. The older people working there are amazing, and the young can definitely learn from them. Simon was especially wonderful. When I checked in I was not told about the pool nor did I use it- I would have liked to take a peak at it for sure though! The hotel rooms are comfortable but they sorely need a coffee machine! A Nespresso would be ideal. I would visit and stay again.

This was the best hotel of our vacations in Italy. The staff was extraordinary, especially Sylvia at the front desk. The room was spectacular with a terrace in front of the San Marco Tower, refined decor and amenities. The Library Bar has great drinks and an amazing vibe and the restaurant (the former Venice stock exchange building) has first class service and food. It is a mix of elegant/modern components that make this hotel unique and different from other Venetian classic and famous hotels, that feel more like staying in an old castle. Hope we are back soon.

Exceptional hotel….

The staff was wonderful and the location on a street of designer boutiques just a few blocks from San Marco Square was perfect. The room was lovely but there were a few negatives as far as practicality. There were very few drawers and there isn't a vanity for hair drying or make-up.

I mean just WOW! We had the best stay ever at this property. From the top notch hospitality start with the bellman, to the front desk associate and the concierge. When you are looking for excellence this place goes above that. I have worked for luxury hotels and this place highly impressed me. It was my wife’s birthday and first trip back to Italy in 20 plus years. With availability they upgraded our room from the extreme comfort of the bed, amazing view of the town, bar stocked with beverages. This place sets the expectation and I’m not sure anywhere else can compete. We will definitely come back and share this with our friends and family.

The entire staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The service was excellent. Perfect location and the food was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this hotel. They made us feel so special.

The rooms are clean, luxurious and the penthouse plunge pool was a welcome retreat. We had a room on the first floor initially but requested to be moved since the path to the penthouse pool required walking through the hotel bar. Irena at the evening reception was wonderful in facilitating the move to the 5th floor. The 1st floor room was quite dark while the 5th floor suite was much brighter with higher ceilings. I recommend booking a suite to get the higher floors on the better wing of the hotel. Booking a water taxi to the airport was easy thanks to the concierge and the bell staff helped walk our bags to the nearby dock where the taxi was waiting. The only non-positive to mention was some sizing up by 2 staff members during check-in, which felt awkward. Overall, it was a great luxury property in a great location in Venice.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Venice, with accommodating and helpful staff and excellent concierge service. Breakfast and hotel restaurant are also very good.
