The booking on Expedia is extremely misleading. It says we get $90 resort credit per day. That is absolutely false. The hotel will not honor it.If you book an ultra north Tower suite, the pictures online are of the master suite South tower. We booked a corner ultra suite, and it is as pictured, however, when we were disappointed in the accommodations, we tried to switch rooms and they told us there were no rooms available, and Expedia show to have rooms available . The room is not what they have pictured. The food is excellent. The staff is very friendly. The management (Daniel specifically) was not accommodating at all when we brought up our issues, and was very condescending. I have stayed at this property many times and I’ve never been treated as poorly as he treated us. The next day the management addressed her issues but we never got a resort credit of $90 per day as advertised on Expedia.

The property is not bad but you have to make appointment to eat very inconvenient!

We loved the secluded resort area that was beautifully landscaped and lushly expansive! Took full advantage of the property, from hatha yoga to a 2.5 hour kayaking and snorkeling adventure to an enlightening kundalini yoga…every day was a new experience. The restaurants are incredible, views unmatched, and staff so welcoming.

They did not honor the $75 daily resort credit. Staff was always trying to remind you to tip, making dining anytime uncomfortable and awkward. Some of the staff were rude.

Awesome experience and can’t wait to return. Was the first adults-only resort experience for me and my wife and we loved it. All of our prior vacations have been as a family (ie. with our kids) and it was really nice to vacation without kids around. No splashing around in the pool, no constant calls for mommy, etc. The

From arrival to departure, everything was stupendous. The property is comfortable, well thought out, and coordinated. All of the staff were so attentive to our every need. The entire stay exceeded our expectations. Hotel Mousai made our honeymoon really special.

My wife and I stayed here for 12 days over our 6 year anniversary. While the rooms, views and some of the staff are incredible, we had some serious issues with our stay. Firstly, upon check in - my wife found a used condom underneath a chair. It was apparent that the room was not cleaned appropriately and this gave us a very bad taste in our mouth. While they changed us rooms, we still questioned the cleanliness of the property and what protocols were in place. This took over a day to sort out and was very frustrating as it was disturbing for us. The second issue we had was with our restaurant reservations. We had made several reservations that were never confirmed properly, and we were forced to scramble last minute for dining options on 3 occasions. We were mislead about the dining at Karuma, as we were told the only thing not included when spending the extra $45pp was the “Prime” items. This was not the case and several items that drew me into the restaurant were not included. The staff was also extremely rude at times, not serving us and flat out ignoring us despite tipping well. The food was also very inconsistent, even at the same restaurants. We had several fantastic meals and we had some very bad meals at the same restaurants with the same dishes. The property has a lot of potential but overall we did not enjoy our stay. We travel to Mexico 2-3 times a year and this was our worst experience to date from a 5 star resort. Amazing property and service! Best hotel in Puerto Vallarta

Never stayed at a five diamond resort before and not sure I’ll ever be able to not stay at one again. The service was next level, food was out of this world good, and the personal butler service was awesome. Will definitely be returning to Hotel Mousai in the future!

Staff were amazing and the room was great, with an exceptional view. Facilities and restaurants were good as well. Our room service guy Danny was phenomenal.

Everyone was so happy, helpful, had a smile on their face. The FOOD was amazing was not like the all inclusive generic food you usually get at all the hotels. Rooms were cleaned and turned down nightly with chocolates lights dime and soft music. This hotel is definitely well worth every penny spent to stay there. Definitely will stay there again.

Beach is very rocky which makes it really hard to swim. There is a lot of walking from the room to the beach and to the other restaurants such as the steak house. You constantly have to wait for the tram/bus to take you from one location to the other.
