Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Editory Garden - the garden offered a nice oasis of calm in what can be quite a busy city.
Location is probably a little further out from the centre than we would have preferred, with a bit of an uphill walk from the Bolhão/Santa Catarina region which was a bit of a nuisance in the heat.
I would say that breakfast seemed slightly overpriced for what was on offer and, as a coffee lover, the machine coffee left a lot to be desired. But if you're not in a rush, there are plenty of local cafes nearby.
Staff were all very friendly and the bed comfy, with very good air conditioning.
So overall, a good option if you don't mind a bit of a walk and aren't reliant on a 5 star breakfast.
