This property advertises having air conditioning - it does not. The thermostats cannot be adjusted, so for the duration of our stay the apartment was 25+ degrees Celsius. We alerted the hotel staff that the AC might be broken, to which they said this is normal and the AC is in working order.

This is such an amazing place with superb service. Catia, the manager, made us feel right at home by taking care of every single detail. Don't hesitate a single second about booking this place. It is beyond great!

The air conditioner hasn’t been working. I mentioned it several times, and although they said it would be fixed,days kept passing by and in the end, it was never repaired.

This was a great hotel all around. It was small, and the friendliness of everyone was top notch. I would stay over and over at their properties.

It is definitely a gem in Porto. The design and architecture were superb. Katia, our host was really great and helpful. The apartment was like nothing we had stayed in before. We will surely come back.

Great stay. A quiet neighborhood boutique yet still with in walking distance of major attractions. Nice little bar on premise for a night cap or two. Great helpful staff as well.

A very high end experience! Room was perfect for our 4 nights in Porto. All staff welcoming and informative. Delicious breakfast. Many comfortable spaces to relax in the morning and plan our day or wind down in the evening.

This property was wonderful in every way. The retro yet warm decor, lovely courtyard/pool area and amazing breakfast were just a few of the things we loved. They have thought of everything here. And the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Highly recommend. Parking nearby was €15 per day. Only wish we’d had more time at this property.

One of my favorite boutique hotel discoveries ever! Beautifully appointed lobby and rooms, with an idyllic pool and garden area for enjoying siesta and a delicious spread at breakfast or wine at night. The entire staff and especially Robert were welcoming and ready with wonderful recommendations. The location can't be beat: central yet away from the fray, quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be back to Porto and would without a doubt stay here again!

Beautiful boutique hotel. Pool in the back was lovely and it was nice to be out of the madness closer to the river. Easy walk to downtown area.

best staff ever!

Staff were helpful, friendly, and accommodating. We arrived early to check-in, but they allowed us to check-in. One morning we had early pick-up for a tour and they allowed us to have breakfast 30 minutes early. The accommodations are truly beautiful and top-notch design. Only 2 things could be improved: due to the architecture of the building, any guests talking in the foyer can be heard in the rooms, which is ok during the day, but less so around midnight. So if you are a light/early sleeper, this is not your place. The oversized towels in the bathroom don't dry overnight. But when you leave it on the floor, they don't give you a clean one.

Hotel Tipografia do Conto was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. It was well designed and beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was incredible! I highly recommend you pick this hotel for your next stay in Porto
