It is in a very convenient location, with walking distance to many sights, as well as easy access to public transit. The room was clean and comfortable and our host was very friendly. The self check-in/check-out is very straight forward.

Worst experience ever. No staff is available in the night. Wasn't able to check in. I had to book another hotel for the night.

A few days before our stay, we received an email saying they're unable to host us. We had to find a new accommodation last minute.

This bnb is the epitome of chic boutique!! Such a charming and cozy place, it was definitely enchanting! The only reason I dropped one happy face is because the shower. The shower stall was so small, I couldn't even move. Every time I tried to turn around, I would hit the faucet handle and the water temperature would change so fast! I either burned or froze in an instant. But overall, I definitely recommend this place!

The room was cozy and clean, but it was hard to find the right place.. Even with the instructions, I noticed some tourists struggling with finding the door and the way in. At night the complex was entirely dark..

We spent only one night between trips so the place was convenient for the purpose. Good organization in place with a nice breakfast.

No one on one service to speak of left with codes as was explained to us as “encouraging our independence”, no thanks never again. If there had been anything to go wrong we would have been at anyone’s mercy.

Was a good location with bus stop out the front and a very cool building. Unfortunately their was no free parking as advertised just street parking. Some street parking is free if you are lucky to fluke one but if not it is a real hassle to pay coins in machine and move car every 3 hours from 8am to 6 pm. Night street parking is free in the local area. Also bike rental is only available in this property during summer. When we went in early November the service was not available through the hotel.

Amazing place. We enjoyed a lot. Not easy to find a parking place, but patience is rewarded.

This was a beautiful property with comfy, remodeled room. The bedroom and attached bath were super clean. Staff was friendly, and there were many options for the continental breakfast (which is already in the room at arrival). Rooms had a mini fridge, toaster and coffee maker as well. Electronic entry to the property and the courtyard. Make sure you let the hosts know your arrival time so they can make sure someone is available to greet you. The staff, including the lady who cleans, was super helpful with getting around the city and making recommendations.

The hotel itself is tucked away in a lovely little courtyard, which meant that it was really quiet and peaceful. Check-in was made super easy, as we received an email with the codes to all of the doors so we could check-in at our own convenience. The room was really spacious and warm, and the bed was really comfy! The location was great - just round the corner from Heroes Square and City Park, and a 10-minute walk away from a metro station, which took you into the centre of Pest, which then offered transport options over to Buda. The only thing that let the hotel down was the breakfast that was left in the room each day - there wasn't really anything wrong with it, it was just that there could have been more. Overall, we loved the hotel and would definitely stay here again if we return to Budapest!

The hotel is very private and sits in the lower back corner at Damjanich utca 32 in Budapest. Classic famous building with history. Atomic Blond was filmed here - see the movie and see her jump down in the rear courtyard of the hotel. Service was excellent. We wanted to change rooms after the first night of a one week stay and Nidia moved our luggage and belonging to the new room before we were able to put it all together and placed everything exactly as it was - even toothbrushes were in the same position in the new bathroom. Great restaurants walking distance - get reservations days ahead for "Paprika Vendéglő restaurant.

Experience was poor. Room was cancelled 1 day before arrival by email and options for what we should do very unclear. Email gave a list of alternatives but didn't say that they would book them for us or not. In the end had to book another hotel a few hours before we arrived, lucky we got a room. I don't know if they had my mobile number but that wasn't used to contact me. (email was found in spam, text message left on home phone number after we had already started travelling. Hotel needs a clearer process to contact clients and explain what exactly are the options.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is good. How you get breakfast is very different from every other B&B we have been to. You get your next breakfast (packed bread, snack, fruits, juice and yogurt) when the room is being cleaned. This approach can save you some time and provide convenience. But this does mean you won't get any freshly cooked food, such as scrambled/poached egg. The location is OK, a few trolley buses passes the building and metro isn't too far away. The neighbourhood is safe but nothing fancy. Two international supermarkets nearby, so convenient.

We stayed for 2 nights in April during a rail trip in Europe. It was about a 10 minute walk from the main station to this B&B in a very 'local' area. Finding the gate was interesting, hidden amongst small shops, but once inside the huge courtyard it was fantastic. It is a genuinely 'shabby' set of buildings with the Budapestville set at the far end. The welcome we received was warm and we felt a genuine interest in what we wanted to get from our stay. The advice given for restaurants and transport possibilities was perfect, real insider tips. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated with a decent ensuite shower room. Breakfast is provided in the room and we found a very generous supply of juice, yogurts,cheese & meat, jams, fruit. The packed baked things were fine, but fresh bread is always nicer! Our host was kind and attentive, but not always present which is fine. Easy access to Heroes Square and Szechenyi Spa, also Andrassy Ave. Best to take the underground into main city as it would be a really long walk! Only a few minutes walk to the station. Clean and quiet accommodation, good value budget choice.
