great facility for family holiday

This place was perfect. No complaints about anything. I will definitely come back with my family.

We were very happy with our stay at the Ocean Trails Resort. We stayed in a 3-bedroom condo as a family of five. We needed a late check-in, which the staff handled proactively and smoothly, and the unit was very clean and tidy as soon as we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for meals, and the layout was perfect for our family, allowing my wife and me to plan our next day's activities while the kids were in bed. The entire resort was well kept, and everyone we met at the resort, including staff, residents, and other guests, was friendly. Access to the beach was easy, parking spaces are large for big vehicles, and the pool area is well maintained. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely look to stay here again on our next family vacation to the Parksville area. The only suggestion for improvement would be to provide some kind of delineation for private spaces directly outside each unit. This isn't a big deal to everyone, but we found it a bit unsettling when people would walk only 5 to 10 feet away from the patio and look directly into our unit as they went to their unit elsewhere.

Stayed here for a quick one night . Great location that was easy to find and we loved the beach access . Washing machine and dryer were an added bonus . Girls in the office were helpful and friendly .

Very nice place to stay

The unit was spacious, well outfitted & clean. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach & not great if you’re mobility challenged. We just did a small side trip to Rathtrevor. Excellent place to stay, the only things missing were USB ports & a full length mirror!

Nice environment! The unit we stayed in was clean and tidy. We didn’t go to the pool and hot tub but will definitely do that if we get back in the summer. The staff there was friendly and helpful which made my experience even more enjoyable. They also has EV charger there so anyone go there could charge your EV.

I liked the fully equipped 1 bedroom Condo I was assigned on the 2nd floor but trying to find my parking spot was difficult as the parking spot numbers were very faded out and definitely now clear to see at the time I arrived! I finally drove around the parking area 3 times to figure out the parking for the Condi I was in. Also had a fuse blow due to the fact I had turned on the wonderful fireplace to get warm and then went to heat my dinner in the microwave and blew the fuse! I attempted to reset the breaker and it would not reset so called the after hours number and spoke to a lady who first asked me if the whole resort had lost power?

We love Ocean Trails resort. The condos are spacious, well cared for and have everything we need. The pool and hot tub area are clean and well maintained. Best of all, they are located right off Rathtrevor Beach and you can access the beach via a boardwalk from the property. This was our fifth stay and won’t be our last one.
