Nice hotel above the restaurant in the center of town across the road from the Victor Hugo museum and down the hill from the castle. Nice restaurant too.

We were hiking GR5 in January, with one stage ending at Vianden. We were grateful to be able to stay in this comfortable and conveniently located hotel, as there were very few overnight options at this time of the year. We got a larger room than we booked with view at the castle. The room is comfortable and clean. We had dinner at the acompanying restaurant, which is nicely decorated. The food was delicious. And the staff was warm.

The room was a decent size, but since the hotel is on a main road, there is lots of noise throughout the night. The surroundings are beautiful, but there are limited places to eat. Perhaps, it isn’t high tourist season yet.

Nothing but good things to say about this hotel. The staff was wonderful, the food was great, and the room was comfortable and clean . I would definitely recommend it.

Right in the centre of everything! Great location. Great bar, restaurant, staff. Parking can be challenging during busy times.

Very well located with nice views of the street and castle. Restaurant/ breakfast was very good. The only down side was that our room was on the first floor and we could hear all the noise from the restaurant at night and in the early hours.

We had such a lovely stay and the staff bent over backwards to make our stay that way. In particular, I have such difficult dietary restrictions and the kitchen staff were able to adapt the menu to suit my needs, even going off-menu to feed me. The room was immaculate, the bed extremely comfortable and the views were stunning. We will definitely be returning again.

This hotel overlooks the river and has a decent buffet breakfast. The pub downstairs looks good but I didn’t get the chance to eat there as I was o oh there for one night. Lots walks near by and the town is sleepy but charming.

Never felt welcome, starting at the reception. Good resto though.

The view was beautiful and the location is perfect. I had a room looking onto the river and I could see the castle to the side. The only complaint I have is the bathroom wasn’t super clean. I was also in a non-smoking room but it smelled like an ash tray when I walked in. Otherwise the hotel was a good place to stay.

Lovely hotel but amenities are not what is shown in description - there is no on site parking - parking is on the street (if you can find it) or at the covered carpark which is very expensive. The description states it has self laundry provision which it doesn’t and on the last morning there was no hot water for the shower in both rooms and the towels are so old…..on the positive the breakfast and evening meals were nice and the waiting staff very friendly - great location

Great location, restaurant and service.

Warning: not all rooms have air conditioning! We booked the room when it was hot because it said they have air conditioning. Then we get to the hotel and find out that only certain rooms do and they’re all already occupied. Expedia reached out on our behalf and they refused to do anything about it. On the plus side, the location is wonderful.

We arrived on a Wednesday when the bar and restaurant were closed. It would have been nice ro have access to some brochures in the lobby for information on the area, and perhaps some bottled water in the room.

Good hotel which is relatively cheap by Luxembourg standards; Helpful staff - I lost my charger and reception was helpful in suggestions for getting replacements lent my a charger. Evening meal enjoyable with great views.

Quaint little old-school European hotel located in the heart of a picturesque village... right above a main intersection where traffic stops all day and into the night, making it very noisy. Central to all the major attractions of Vianden, and the restaurant has a good menu. Breakfast was a typically European spread and OK value at 10€. Free parking in a small deck very close by. The hard-working bar/restaurant staff deserve big tips!

The location was perfect and the town was walkable, along cobblestone streets that led up to the Castle on the hill. Courteous staff, clean and great food!
