There was nothing good about this motel. Asked to be moved to a different room when we got there since we thought the bed was about to collapse when we sat on it. They gave us a new room...TV didn't work, broken lamp, stained bed sheets, dead bugs on the wall, fridge didn't work properly, no kleenex, no hot water (which they did call a plummer to fix). It was absolutely filthy. They advertised an outdoor pool, sure there was a pool, but no water in it. Go to Mary's Motel website and view the video someone put on it featuring bed bugs. I can't believe this place is still in business. I've read on line that the original owner, Mary, would be turning in her grave if she knew what was going on. This place needs to be inspected. We've done a lot of traveling, worst place I've ever seen! Don't stay here...EVER!

Room floor was filthy. No coffee pot, extremely soft beds. Couldn't wait to leave in the morning.

Clean room could use a few up grades. No Kleenex in room no hair dryer. Phone and Tv didn’t work. Good location. No breakfast. Fair stay. Only place in Golden that had an affordable stay for people who just need a place to sleep. Golden is way over priced. But it’s a bottle neck so they have us!

Barely acceptable. Poor parking for some rooms.

Don't waste your money on this fleabag hotel. Not only were the staff members unattentive to my needs but the listed amenities were non-existant.

Limited hot water supply. Water went cold after few showers. Supplies are not refilled for multi day stays. But rooms are clean. Quite neighbourhood.

Basic cleanliness. Need of paint and renovations. Only One tiny soap to share between shower and sink. Staff greeting was pleasant enough. Okay for an older motel. Price could be cheaper for what you get.

It was clean…but shower head needed hard water scales cleaned many spay holes plugged…beds very soft, not much support.

Mary’s is a good place for a one night travel stay. The price is good for what you get and the location is great

Clean room, courteous staff, but the outdoor pool and hot tub were not available. However I knew that before booking. So not a big deal. It was a quick overnight stop on my travels.

Property in poor condition, towels too old

filthy rooms and glasses. not worth the price. would not go back!

The towels were small and very thin. One had a dark gray stain on it. The TV ran for less than 5 minutes. 2 tiny garbage cans and no recycle boxes. The toilet was made for a small child. No water in the pool. Mid June it should have had water. No kettle or coffee options. Will not be stopping there again.

Was not aware both inside and outside pools were closed when we booked, staff also didn’t tell us when we checked in, one hot tub was working and it open from 6pm- 10pm. Ask for extra towels as there is only 2 in the room. Rooms were older but clean
