A little bit of a tired property. Clearly indicative from grass growing in the cracks in the pavement in the parking lot It’s just looks like a 35 to 40 year old property. It is OK, if the price was 25% less

Was unable to get a signal on the TV. The person at the front desk came to my room and after some uncertainty on her part showed me what to do. This is likely a recurring problem with each new guest. Although it was an hdtv, it didn’t give an hd picture.

Amazing staff. Clean and comfortable beds. Don't let the exterior fool you.

The hotel should take the picture of the pool off their outside sign since the pool hasn’t been open to use in over a year or more. The hotel inside and out needs an overall freshening up.

Comfy beds, clean, friendly staff only downfall is they do not allow pets.

Overall I was disappointed, especially for the price paid. It is a budget motel charging too much for what is offered. We stayed there because there was a pool and hot tubs. Both were “out of order” and we were not notified. I had to wash the bathtub in our room before I could shower because it was dirty. It is an older motel that could use some TLC. All of this could be mitigated with more attention to cleanliness, a fairer price point, and managing guest expectations.

Clean enough, but a smell of old smoke - probably within the rug or upholstery. Seemed that renovations were on going, so perhaps this will change. View was of back alley. However, the towels and pillows were a plus.

Rooms were clean ish. Mold in the corners of the bathroom.

Reasonable for price. Exterior looks a bit worn down but inside is nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool and hot tub weren't in order unfortunately.

Hot tub was very warm. The pool bottom could use a new paint job. Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable.

It was quiet, comfortable bed and within walking distance to conveniences, Tim’s, Subway, grocery store, BC Liquor store. We were passing through Port Alberni, the harbour is lovely.

Clean room. Supplies provided were fully stocked and good brands. Staff were friendly and answered any questions i had. We only stayed for a night but i see more stays here in the future.

The hotel , the room & the staff were fine. I wasn't very impressed having to pay $50 to check-in early. I had advised them a week before that we were attending a celebration of life that started at noon so they had plenty of time to have the room cleaned first. we were very close to the lobby so it was quite noisy and the ceilings are paper thin so don't stay on the ground floor.
