Very cute, clean, comfortable 3 star resort. If you're looking for 5 star amenities, don't stay here. But if you're ok with a nice room, clean pools, they have 2, small outdoor restaurant, well manicured tropical landscaping, Las Catalinas Coronado is for you!

Las Catalinas Coronado was a very pleasant. The staff were friendly and were more then accommodating when it came to putting up with our lack of speaking Spanish. With the help of Google translate we both made it work. The room was small but nice and clean. There was a patio area with a hammock out from that was private and peaceful. The entire grounds were somewhat of an oasis and the pool area was private and had a kitchen area that was open to all to use. It helped we were there during the off season as there were only a couple of other guest there beside ourselves. It turns out we are not big fans of the Coronado area, but I would stay at the Las Catalinas again.

Too expensive for the condition of the room. Very old furniture, no table, need to be repaint, paint falling a parts.

My fiancé and I had a fantastic stay at Las Catalinas in Coronado! So much so, that we actually made a point to stop in again on our 14 day trip before heading back to Canada. Fernando & Ian were wonderful hosts! It was lovely being able to stay so close to the beach and relax on the property.

Muy bien ubicado por estar muy cerca de la playa y una zona muy segura. El ambiente es muy natural y el personal cortés, falta acondicionar la zona peatonal para poder caminar dentro de la propiedad.

If they turn the dabble bed to be on the long wall it won’t be squashed into the corner against the curtain. To get in and out of bed one person has to climb over the other. Also then there will be space for a small bed table.

Just overall lovely trip and stay

As long as you're aware of what you are booking, this is an acceptable accommodation. This is more of a Hostel than a Hotel. The "living room" is shared space as is the kitchen and seating areas. There is no one to check you in but a friend of the owner who was working in the garden gave us our key. There is no maid service, and the rooms are sparsely furnished. Our room had an uncomfortable queen bed pushed into one corner, and a dresser with squeaky drawers for clothes. The bath had one towel rod that kept falling down, no amenities such as soap or glasses, and no hot water. There were no electrical outlets except for one extension cord by the door to the unit with a plug in on top of the dresser. On the good side, the WIFI was good, and the AC worked. The pool is small but clean, and there are shared cooking facilities and tables outside.

We had the back cabana, that has a lot of privacy and 2 bedrooms and 1 bath and a kitchen. We really liked the amenities and Louise our host was fabulous The pool area also had a full kitchen available to bbq

I booked Las Catalinas Coronado so that my family and I could get to spend a relaxing afternoon together before school commence. To my dismay, the property was located on the other side of the street with private property with the beachfront across from it. There was a side alley from where the private properties were located where people access the beach, but it went right into the water. In order to go to the beach we had to get into our cars and compete with other locals who were also looking to enter the beach. It was a big disappointment. Although the room itself was ok and clean, there was no toiletries in the bathroom for showering. I was expecting more from this place.

Was alright but it can get boring if you don't have a large group of friends. Barely no other guests. They tried to charge me for a broken lamp.

Beautiful place but there is no admenties. It would be nice to know when you book that you need to bring your own food and ice. It would also be nice if there was a few more kitchen pans to cook with.

The place was nice and extremely comfortable. Jose, the groundskeeper, was really helpful and polite. I had the place to myself the entire five days. The pool was nice and the beach very accessible. I would not recommend this place without a car, which I did not have. I walked four miles roundtrip everyday for food and other provisions. Closest restaurant and store - 2 miles away. The homes along the beach were upscale and impressive. Very safe area.

Lovely little B&B in Coronado, just a few minute walk from the beach. Comfortable room, great pool and lots of nice landscaping and shady areas on the grounds. The manager, Yuri, is extremely helpful and nice. Makes great breakfasts. Even gave us a ride on a few occasions, as taxis a bit difficult to get in this area. If you are looking for a laid back, relaxing break from Panama City, this is a great place to chill for a few days.

We stayed in Las Catalinas this trip. We enjoyed our time there. Yuri, that manager was great and makes fantastic banana and chocolate crepes for breakfast! The staff is very friendly. The gardener came to get us to show us a green iguana in one of the trees on the property! The B&B is a classic Panamanian home with several guest rooms in various parts of the home. The grounds have many fruit trees, a pool, bohio area, and a large cage, the home for four beautiful and friendly yellow front Amazon parrots. I was let inside to feed and interact with the birds. The inn is also about one block from a great beach. We walked a long way in both directions. We'll be back, for sure.

It's a very good B&B nice and quiet for a very affordable price with breakfast and close to everything. What we like the mos was Playa Serena that was within a short walk from the facilities .
