Was a good area for restaurant and taxis. The concert that went until 4 am was not enjoyable as you were constantly woken up

This was such a pleasant place to spend our one night in Coimbra. Super walkable to explore the town from. Street parking was a breeze and free. The host who checked us in was so warm and welcoming and gave helpful information on the area. Definitely felt like we got a great value for the price of this stay.

We spent 3 nights and had a great time. The guest house was a perfect base to explore Coimbra and the surrounding area and Sofia was so helpful both with local suggestions and our later travel plans. Would highly recommend

Santa Clara Guest House is perfect for a visit to Coimbra. Great location, clean and well equipped rooms. Sofia on reception was friendly and helpful. She gave us lots of information and some good recommendations for breakfast and dinner. There is a free underground car park 5 minutes from the guest house. Highly recommended

Great place to stay, just across a bridge from (and view upon) the Old Town of Coimbra, hence much quieter (with double-paned windows). Renovated yet with charm. Comfy beds. Good sized bedroom, functional bathroom. Great welcome as well as help (where to park, eat, shop...) Free coffee, but no breakfast at property; available at several places across the street as well as just at the entrance of the old town.

We were impressed by the restoration of the building such that important updates such as noise cancelling thermal windows and other features were done and that the hostess was very helpful friendly and full of information to make our stay so good. Very clean as well.

Beautiful guest house just across the bridge from the old town. Very welcoming and helpful host who gave great advice on where to go etc.

The hotel staff is very informative during my check-in. She explain all the must go spot in Coimbra with a travel map.

We travelled all over Portugal and this was easily our favourite accommodation of the trip. Sofia was so friendly and welcoming and let us check in early which was so helpful. The room was so nice and comfortable and the view was amazing.

The internet was intermittent at best, pretty much non existent. I only texted with the proprietor, she was actually very helpful in helping me find the place, which I appreciated. I liked the area, and it was fine inside the apartment, except I had a stomach problem, and only one toilet paper roll was not sufficient, luckily I had something.

It was very well located for access into the old city with very good restaurants nearby. It was excellent to have access to free underground parking nearby. Our GPS had a terrible time finding the address so it would be helpful to give the nearest main road that it is on. Very helpful staff!
