The rooms were beautiful and spacious. The staff very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful and quiet luxury hotel in an otherwise sleepy town.

Other than the breakfast there was no other meals available nor was there a bar which in today market is a necessity. The hotel could also be more attractive to the travelling client if there was in room tea/coffee making facilities and an iron and board. It is all very good to have a beautiful building but today some basics are just as important.

The best place we stayed in Portugal. Couldn't find any fault.

Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff

Amazing hotel, the staff were super friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was great. We tried the pool and spa - excellent, so too the outdoor area.

Very nice hotel and staff. Would rate it a 4. Very hard to find parking. Hot tub didn’t work while we were there. SOA was closed in the evenings Pool not heated. Breakfast was great. Dated but large and comfortable rooms.

Hotel muy bonito, agradable y acogedor. Excelente trato y servicio, antigua casa señorial restaurada con mucho gusto. Nos ha encantado la estancia.

Estadia muito agradável num ambiente intimista, com um serviço muito atencioso. Excelente pequeno almoço. Vai ser referência para novas visitas na zona.

Hotel novo. No centro . Bem perto dos restaurantes . Quarto e banheiros amplos. Spa dos pés, sauna , ducha com sensor e piscina com vista para o jardim . Só não dei nota máxima pois a jacuzzi não estava funcioanando . Café da manhã completo.

Se ambiciona simpatia, privacidade e limpeza é o hotel ideal. Pequeno almoço inesquecível e servido à mesa...só provando.

Tudo perfeito!

Tudo foi perfeito. Conheço, por motivos profissionais, muitos hotéis (muitos mesmo!) e este foi um dos melhores onde já estive. O hotel em si, outrora palácio ou casa senhorial, o quarto bastante espaçoso, o silêncio, a limpeza, a piscina, o spa, e o pequeno-almoço tão cuidado e saboroso. Uma menção especial para as pessoas que ali se dedicam com elevado profissionalismo e simpatia, designadamente a Beatriz e a Margarida. Até breve (sim, porque a este hotel voltarei!).

Quartos amplos e confortáveis. O pequeno-almoço poderia ter maior variedade de fruta. Local sossegado e calmo e uma estadia muito agradável.

Schön renoviertes Haus mit grossen eingerichteten Zimmern. Gute Lage, Altstadt in 5 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Personal fanden wir sehr freundlich und wir konnten uns auf Englisch unterhalten. Gutes Frühstück, nur etwas mehr Auswahl an frischen Früchten/Gemüse wäre noch besser. Das Hotel hat uns beim Besuch des Städtchens Portalegre sehr gefallen, und wir fanden den Aufenthalt insgesamt lohnenswert.

Staff super simpatico e disponivel, quarto super espaçosos e requintado. Pequeno almoco fenomenal com produtos da regiao. Excelente a.piscina e jacuzzi como complememto a uma estadia perfeita.
