Perfect

The reception staff were friendly and attentive, as were those in the restaurant at breakfast. The hotel is well placed, the rooms are huge, have lots of storage as well as fridges with mini bar (at a fee). The beds are a little firm but that suits me and the sheets and pillows were super soft and comfortable meaning I had a great sleep. Air con is powerful and bathroom comes with complimentary toiletries and the whole place was super clean. The included breakfast was solid as I was given options from a menu on day 1 and it was a buffet on day 2, both of which were tasty and well cooked. Only areas that let it down were the hallway carpets as they looked a little tired and stained and there were a number of missing or loose mosaic tiles in the bathtub which need addressing. Never got time to visit the pool or bars but I would visit again if in Bahrain.

Nice and luxurious boutique hotel in a quiet area.

Very boutique hotel with only about 20 rooms. Staff is super friendly and accommodating, but the rooms are pretty old and it's showing its age. B'fast is very poor with about 5 dishes in total and one of the days it was a la carte and not even buffet. Location is central and a few decent restaurants in walking distance. But there are better places for this price for sure.

From the beautiful aesthetics to the warm and welcoming staff, the Palmyard has you covered. It is am amazing property with multiple dining options and a spectacular pool.

The staff are amazing. So friendly and happy. The room is quite basic but very clean. Bathroom door slides so does not offer enough privacy. We will definitely stay again.

The atmosphere

A basic hotel to be honest. I booked brunch but food options were limited and the service was extremely slow. Breakfast was very basic and, unlike other hotels, they don't serve proper pork bacon and sausages. As an expat, I expect tgat to be available. I didn't have a terrible experience but there are far better hotels. Unlikely to be back.
