When first arriving to our room after check in at 6 PM we found that it had not been cleaned. This was rectified within an hour with an apology. The steam room is normally left off in the "summer", but staff will turn it on by request and it takes about an hour to really heat up. It is a spacious clean steam room We thought the road side room would be noisy but it was actually pretty quiet. Ocean side would be best as the view and large beach front makes up for other issues. The morning we left, the coffee was depleted at the coffee/tea station. There are no amenities nearby and it's not staffed 24 hours. Overall a nice stay.

Nice clean place right on the ocean. Nice hiking on the beach and a wonderful wooden swing to use and watch the ocean.

The self service coffee area was not maintained - garbage spilled - nothing cleared - it looked like a homeless camp.

The room was so small, no microwave in room.

A last minute booking and there wasn’t a lot left in Campbell River to choose from. This place is amazing. Staff were ultra helpful. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is outstanding. Right on the ocean. I’ll definitely be back as the price was less than half of the place I normally stay. Breakfast is NOT included here but there are plenty of food options available real close by. Thanks for a great experience!

Upon arrival we discovered there was no toilet paper in our room and the bathroom door wouldnt even lock, let alone close. Having the whole reception and sitting area closed/gated off during the evening made it feel very unwelcoming.

The rooms are fairly basic but the property is amazing. Grab a cup of coffee and head to the beach. The ground are super gorgeous

Great beachside location

Bathroom walls and tub drain were absolutely gross. Hair found in sheets, Ice machine broken, room door didn’t lock, front main door issues. Beautiful grass field, on Ocean but beach is rocky.

We just stayed for one night, but we thought we would like to come back again at some point and stay longer, considering me live on the island. It would be nice if they had a restaurant on site it looks like they might have at one point. The rooms were very clean and cosy and we had an amazing night sleep. Having the beach so close made it very special and the sunset during the evening was amazing
