The bed was comfortable, things were clean, the ocean view was a plus. The fitness room was not as advertised, the tea and coffee selection was nice. There needs to be longer front desk hours.

It was simple and affordable.

Air-conditioning didn’t seem to work very well. Parking was sufficient. Staff were good.

Older renovated hotel….room was nice…..was expecting queen beds but only doubles which would have been perfectly fine with 2 people. I did like being on beach. No breakfast just coffee of tea and it’s 20 minutes from Campbell River so you need to bring muffins or something, Sunset was nice……not a lot of parking…..we needed disabled but didn’t see one. Young man did help us with luggage though.

Ocean resort grounds were poorly maintained, lack of staff, they need to upgrade there web pictures, personally I would not recommend to friends and family.

Cute and comfy with a great coffee bar for a morning cuppa. The front desk was most helpful with answering questions (even though he was ultra busy in the laundry), and the beach access was just across the lawn. Parking was a breeze. Location wonderful. Comfy beds, great view, nice balcony. For an overnighter, couldn't ask for more.

This hotel was accessible by rental car and was reasonably priced with instant access to the sea. The staff is only available for a few hours of the day but were kind enough to let us check in early. There was no restaurant on site and the first guest to wake up would turn on the coffee for the rest of the hotel because there is no hotel staff until 9:00 am. I was disappointed with the cleanliness. There was urine around our toilet and hair, lint, and pills under the bed. We stayed three nights and the rooms were not cleaned while we were there. Overall, I was pleased with price and location; but guests need to be self-sufficient.

The pbscl of the property was amazing. The view was gorgeous. My husband also loved the steak room.

I was excited to stay for 4 nights here as it is advertised as having a gym and steam room (the plan was to wake up and use the gym and steam room in the morning before our days out)and our room was advertised as having a kitchen in the pictures and listed room amenities. When I found that our room had no kitchen we were upgraded for 2 nights to the beach house which if you can afford is absolutely amazing.(Most of the pictures are of the beach house.) However there is no gym available for hotel users and the steam room starts at 10am. If you like a descent coffee in the morning you'll be hugely disappointed if you are going to be relying on the coffee in the lobby. You've got more chance of waking up if you fart in a cup and add hot water. You will need your own transport to get out to eat as they only have a toaster and microwave available to cook with. I would definitely come back to stay at the beach house and highly recommend it as it is right on the beach with gorgeous views and everything you would want to accommodate your stay.

This place was perfect stop before heading north of the island. The beds were very confortable and it was nice to have some complimentary tea and coffee. The backyard facing the sea was a plus!

This is a delightfully unique and charming little property. We had a small room with a view of the water that was absolutely adorable. There is a common gathering room to play games, read or chat. There are no microwaves in the room but there is a microwave available in the common room that worked perfectly for us. This is a super quiet and relaxing place, the staff were very friendly and helpful. If you like quiet and charming, I would highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed at the ocean resort and it was a lovely hotel. It was very clean, well maintained and had good supplies in the rooms and the lobby. The staff were friendly and helpful.

A beautiful setting with gardens onto beach. Amazing views. Loungers and picnic tables for al fresco eating. Communal microwave and toaster. Fridge in room with ice box bigger than expected. Steam room. Very helpful staff. I loved it here

Nice quiet hotel. The bed was very comfortable. Honestly I was in for a few hours of sleep and then back on the road. It was a great night sleep! I recommend.

Basic clean accommodations. I stay here quite a bit and it’s always clean. It’s exactly what you would expect for only $100 a night. It’s a place to sleep with a beautiful oceanfront property to wander around.
