The staff were extremely friendly. The food in the restaurant was great and reasonably priced. The hotel was easy to find and located right next to a roundabout that let you go anywhere in the region. There were shops across the highway (accessible by car 2 minutes). Great place to stay if exploring the region’s Chteaux.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were looked after very well by Phillipe, Natasha and the staff. Our room was very comfortable, the bathroom was a good size and the shower was very good. However, for us the highest marks should go to to the food. The breakfast had an excellent European choice. The dinners were superb. The menu was changed everyday and there was a limited but good choice of dishes. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. The fish and desserts were particularly good. It was a very good price for the quality. We intended to eat there just twice but only ate out at a small restaurant in the village was once. Philippe was very helpful in giving us suggestions for visits. We would definitely stay there again when we next visit France.

An OK hotel in an "out of town" location. Needed car to visit Azay le Rideau in rain! Limited bar seating but OK restaurant and nice food.

Welcomed by Natalia and her parrot when we arrived. Lovely old hotel with easy parking right outside, and a stones throw from the town itself. Our room was well presented, quiet and very comfortable with a good sized ensuite. We booked a table at the restaurant for that evening and glad we did as it was pretty full. Loved our 2 night stay and would definitely recommend it.

Very friendly. Spoke English. Excellent breakfast & location. Reasonable price. Lots of parking. Our second stay here. First was a number of years ago. Not sure there is an elevator for the upper floors if that would be needed.

A very nice little hotel. Lovely welcome when I arrived. The room was clean and very comfortable. The hotel is in a great location for visiting the Loire area. The evening meal and morning breakfast were extremely good. I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel.

For us (2couples) it was a great place. Friendly and helpful proprietor and staff. Bedroom very comfortable. Restaurant was fine. Not an extensive menu but we had no problems with it. If we are ever in the area again we would be more than happy to revisit.

Although we were late checking in to the hotel the owner invited us to have dinner in the restaurant which was very kind of him and the food was excellent.

We stayed for 2 nights as a stop off on the way back from the south of France to Calais and were delighted that we did! The hotel is very well located to explore the chateaux around Azay and wider (including the "Sleeping Beauty" castle!). The staff were really excellent, being very welcoming, good humoured and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant both nights and the standard of the food was exceptional: genuinely outstanding food, prepared and served with great skill. The menu changes every day with a small choice based on what's in season, and both nights had plenty on offer. The room (a Superior Double) wasn't huge but that bath and shower were good. Would definitely recommend to a friend!
