The staff was friendly, the room was clean, tidy, and fragrant. Unfortunately, the toilet smelled a bit, probably from the exhaust fan. But I'd definitely stay here again next time, as it's only a minute from Tugu Station.

Super clean pods, great Wi-Fi, and an unbeatable location close to everything in central Jogja. The friendly staff and awesome common area make this a 5-star hostel experience. Perfect for solo travelers and digital nomads like myself.

It's very close to the city center, it's really crowded, it's exciting, hmmm.

I stayed at HUBS Hostel Yogyakarta from 17–19 July 2026, and as always, I had a pleasant experience. This is one of the hostels I keep coming back to whenever I visit Yogyakarta. The hostel is clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location is excellent, with many popular tourist attractions and local food options within easy reach. One small suggestion would be to improve the motorcycle parking area by making it more organized and tidy, as it can get a little crowded. Overall, I am very happy with this hostel and will definitely stay here again on my future visits to Yogyakarta. Highly recommended!

For a very cheap price, I think it is highly recommended in terms of place, comfort, cleanliness, location, and service.

This was another enjoyable stay at HUBS Hostel Yogyakarta (30 June–1 July 2026). The hostel was once again clean, comfortable, and in a great location, making it easy to explore the city and enjoy the nearby attractions and street food. This time, I was assigned a top bunk bed, so I had to climb up and down the ladder each time. It wasn’t a major issue, but I personally prefer a bottom bunk for convenience. I will be staying here again from 17–19 July, and the staff kindly made a note of my request for a bottom bunk bed. I really appreciate their help and hope I can get one during my next stay. I’m looking forward to staying at HUBS Hostel again. It’s always a great place to stay whenever I visit Yogyakarta.

The only homework is climbing the stairs 😅 And the back door of the bathroom, hopefully they will pay more attention, because the glass is very prone to getting dirty when it dries from water 🤍

I stayed at UBS Hostel Yogyakarta from 19–21 June 2026 and had a very pleasant experience. The hostel was clean, tidy, and well maintained. I stayed in a shared dormitory with 10 beds, and luckily I got a bottom bunk, which was very convenient as I didn't need to climb the ladder. The location is excellent and one of the best things about this hostel. Many of Yogyakarta's famous landmarks are within walking distance, and there are plenty of street food options nearby. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I enjoyed my stay. I will be staying here again next week and hope to get a bottom bunk once more. Highly recommended for budget travelers visiting Yogyakarta.

I like it here, it's in a great location. It's just that they said you could shower after checking out, but it turns out the staff rooms don't support showers. So I had to go around looking for a place to shower outside, even though my planned late check-out request wasn't possible. Otherwise, it's fine for backpackers.

It's so comfortable, I took the dorm. Even though the bathroom is shared, it's still kept clean.

The check-in process is easy and fast.

First, look for a cheap option that allows check-in at 12:30 AM, as the train goes to Lempuyangan. The GoRide service isn't too far from Lempuyangan Station, and there are still plenty of GoRide services available at 12:30 AM. The GoRide fare is 15,000 Rupiah. It's right next to Tugu, so it's close to the 6:00 AM departure time, so you can still squeeze in a short walk after dawn to get to Tugu. This is the best option for those looking for a cheap option, close to Lempuyangan Station and Tugu, and with check-in options according to arrival times.

The place is very aesthetic, I didn't regret choosing this place. The hotel is also very close to the Jogja Monument. The staff was very helpful with everything we needed. This place is the best, even though it looks like a shop from the outside, but inside it's a beautiful hotel ✨🫰
