Cold and noisy room due to bad windows

Excellent breakfast

Everything perfect exept the room was very cold (teh arcondition was on 24 c)

Il Van der Valk di Hoorn credo sia l'hotel più efficiente del mondo. Pulito e confortevole. Al 14 piano un'area spa con una piccola piscina, una sauna e una palestra. Colazione a buffet strepitosa. Lontano dal centro raggiungibile in auto o in bici fornite dall'hotel. Ottimo ristorante in cui una sera abbiamo cenato. Se non volete pagare la colazione 21,5 euro ci sono 2 bar, al bar al primo piano c'è anche buon cibo. Nella struttura è presente anche un cinema e un casinò. In camera set di cortesi Rituals e phon, bollitore, macchina del caffè e frigo. Tornerò sicuramente nella mia splendida Hoorn e al Van der Valk.

Good staff, clean room, very comfortable environment

Et rigtig dejligt hotel i highend klassen med god luksus for pengene. Morgenmaden var rigtig god, med live cooking og et godt udvalg af div. Der manglede dog sukkerfri produkter til folk med diabetes, men der var et mindre udvalg glutenfri produkter. Der ud over kan nævnes at der er ca 35. Min. Gang til den gamle bydel og havnen i Hoorn, hvor der findes mange hyggelige værtshuse med rigtig god stemning og mulighde for en øl og en en bid mad Alt i alt et dejligt ophold kan varmt anbefales.

Lovely hotel although some communal areas a little tired. Very comfortable rooms, clean and great housekeeping service. Quality of food in restaurant and room service excellent. Shame coffee bar not open as lacked choice for light lunch. Very convenient for event at Ice rink. Difficultly on departure as very poor taxi service and can’t access town easily via public transport.

Was pleasantly surprised by the hotel and the standard of accommodation. Spacious and well appointed room that felt nice at the same time. Definitely a good standard.

Clean hotel. Friendly staff. Was very easy to request to add a bed for my 7yr old. Had initially booked for my 12 old and myself.

A reasonable location; close to the train station but a bit of a walk from the centre of town. Hotel was clean and rooms were comfortable and generous size. great bathroom with separate bath and shower. evening buffet is excellent value with quality food and drink. would recommend cons: poor air con so room was too hot

Rooms are worn out a bit and Smokey but still ok

The room was large, quiet, and very comfortable with all the amenities you could need or want. A casino was part of the complex. A large dining room was on the premise, which looked wonderful, but we didn't go there so I can't evaluate it. The only drawback for us since we arrived by train, we had about a15 minute walk to town and restaurants. What I also really liked is that they would plant a tree each day you passed on getting the room cleaned. I really like that idea.
