Honestly considering the reviews it wasn’t terrible for us. The room itself (we were upgraded from the eurofale to the villa for free) was pretty decent, spacious, great view with working ac and solar hot water that was fine after the sun had been up. The rest of the property is very run down including the pool area. There was some grounds work going on weeding etc but no sign of any serious remedials that they property needs. The included breakfast was so-so but the reef out the front was great for snorkeling up until the last morning. Some locals has run a set net across the width of the channel and presumably caught a lot of the beautiful reef fish which had been cleared from the net earlier in the morning, some were dead and many were dying which was sad but it appears the owners of the resort aren’t doing anything to try to keep these practices out of the immediate area. This wasn’t my first choice of accomodation but as we got let down by the first property I tried to book this was the only one available online at short notice without calling Samoan phone numbers from overseas.

Very old place, surprisingly not up to the website

Unfortunately Service was slow, or otherwise forgotten about. Rooms were average, and slightly unorganized. It's not a place I'd personally go back too, I'd more than likely find other options.

Staff friendly in bar. Expensive for drinks compared to other local resorts, facilities, bars. Food nice

Great place with a beautiful scenic view

I recommend having a electric generator for the electricity. When we got to the resort we were shown one room before the electricity went off. We couldn't use our phone to call and to do Facebook because the power was down.The water was slow as well. It would be so great if we have one in place in times of emergencies. Other than that, it was great. Beautiful view with friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely recommend it to friends and families

Large areas of the resort are run down and abandoned. The are holes in the deck around the pool. Wifi is only available at reception and is intermittent at best. For the price you will get better amenities staying in a Beach Fale instead. That said, the staff did everything they could to help us have an enjoyable stay - but there's not much they can do when the place hasnt been maintained in more than a decade

Staff were lovely but timings were a little off when serving meals. The Fale was fine except the mosquito net had holes in it which meant that during the night I was bitten many times which was quite painful the following morning. The shower only provided cold water and the rock floor was a bit hard on the feet.

Clean rooms, stunning views and beach access at our door. Breakfast was good and the staff hospitable. However the owners need to seriously look at some maintenance issues. Our back door was bordering on rottern while the front entrance door was so swollen it was difficult to open. Our air con unit woke us up in the middle of the night making a dreadful noise. When we got up to investigate, we found ice all over the floor. Needless to say we switched it off. Pool area is in dire need of attention including deep cleaning the green grime off the edges of it. It looks like at one stage it was a great place to stay, and with some care and attention, it could be again

Don’t book here. It’s run down. The pictures are old and outdated. I didn’t even check in. Lost $200 on my booking because no refunds. Dont waste your money.

Clean room friendly staff and delicious breakfast.

I was in the Amelia room was clean, spacious with a beautiful view.

The property was very disappointing. Pictures were very misleading and from other resort. There is only unsafe beach access through steps that were collapsing no sand and the water was unstoppable coral very close to shore. The staff was rude and unfriendly. The pool was filled with algae paddle boards were torn up. Kayaks were broken and missing plugs and no seats.. we left after three days. We are promised a refund which we are still have not received, and it was two months

Beautiful 😍

The staff was very friendly, and the Polynesian Show was good. We stayed in a 'European Fale", which was run down. I understand the Resort is going to do some remodeling later in the year, hopefully they will work on this area as well.

Good hideaway facilities, lovely meals, good friendly staff and the service overall was excellent
