Second time here but somewhat disappointed. Felt prices were much higher than before so next time I will try another hotel as Colombo has so many nice hotels on offer. Staff are very nice, rooms were clean but the hatch in ceiling fell down exposing a big hole. Had that fallen on husbands head (as he is tall enough ) it would have hurt him badly.

I've had an excellent experience during my stay at the Sheraton Colombo Hotel. The room, facilities, dining, and service have been impeccable. The staff are consummate professionals, especially housekeeping, most notably, Udayangani, who has provided the best possible quality service one could expect. Many thanks to the hotel and staff for their enormous hospitality! I am very grateful and highly recommend the Sheraton Colombo Hotel for anyone considering Colombo for business or pleasure.

Great from all aspect

The hotel staff from front desk to restaurant were attentive, helpful and friendly.

We spent 7 nights at Sheraton Colombo and had a great and wonderful time. This 5 stars is a new building with modern facilities . We booked half board and the food were delicious with great choices. Hotel staff were professional and courteous all the time and bend over backwards to ensure all our needs were met. Special mentioned to Yohan @ Colombo Kitchen. One Galle Face Mall is a short tuk-tuk drive or a pleasant walk in the evening. There is a supermarket & bank next to hotel. Gym is well equipped with 24 hrs access , the sauna and steam room were of health benefits and we enjoyed it daily.

Excellent facility. Staff needs training

The hotel posting on Expedia was misleading re: airport pick-up and drop off. These are extra charges at exorbitant mark up, and if you ask for a taxi at the hotel, their prices are at the extreme end. I needed a taxi, 10 mins ride, the hotel said the price was Sri Lankan rupees SLR 5000, whereas “pick me” charge was less than SLR 300. Overall, the hotel is good and staff are friendly, but I do not appreciate misleading posting, hence I would only give 3 stars.

The hotel is beautiful and rooms are very well decorated. The only drawback is the bathroom shower door which opens outside and the floor becomes slippery after shower. I asked for a nonslip mat but there was none.

Amazing location. Excellet staff who were all very polite and friendly. The stay was great because of the staff.

It was a great location with a lovely sea view from the rooms. My family and I had visited Colombo only for a day. The hotel was very comfortable and the highlight of the place was the manager of the front desk who welcomed us in the most warm manner and made us feel at place immediately as we entered! Great Rooms, very clean, highly recommended!

Amazing service from wonderful staff, great breakfast and wondeful facilities. Special thanks to Yohan who gave brialliant customer service, Sheyash the Head Pastry Chef, the pastry selection is the star of the show and Sheyash's hospitals matches. Last but not least Lochan, who was equally and courteous and attentive as the others. Thank you to all for a wonderful stay.
