THE BEST location to see the old medieval city. The hotel is literally at the foot of the old walls and main gate is just a five minute walk up the hill. Can’t get any closer. And the view of the Cite from the breakfast terrace is great.

The staff were exceptional helping to carry cases upstairs. Organising a taxi. We needed a corkscrew and he brought one out. The room was excellent and breakfast was absolutely first class. This was my third visit and I would highly recommend it

Modern and well maintained facilities. Spotlessly clean. Just a short walk from Porte Narbonnaise. Front desk staff are professional, friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Million dollar view from outdoor breakfast terrace.

Incredibly friendly welcome, and great organisation at The Cite Espace hotel. The location was amazing, with some free parking on site, and so close to the ancient city walls. It took us less than 5 minutes to stroll to the gateway of the old town. The rooms were compact, but honestly, for the location and value for money we were very happy. The breakfast was very good, and superbly organised. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

The hotel is very comfortable and the staff were exceedingly helpful. It's only a very short walk from the medieval city. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby. The location was perfect for elderly folks to get around. Breakfast is excellent. Air-conditioning, free parking and free WiFi too. Very good value.

Very nice stay here. It's ideally located for the medieval city as well as restaurants on the way into Carcassonne itself. The staff were very friendly and the room was serviced daily. Our room was small but well equipped. Would have chosen a bigger room if we had known and if one was available. We had a great time at this location and the medieval city is astonishing, but expect to find a lot of tourists. For a good visit, get up early and head up there just before dawn - you will have the whole place to yourself to walk around and take photos.

The hotel is modern and clean with spacious rooms. It is within walking distance of a nature preserve with a lagoon and abundant birds. A popular beach is also right at hand.

We spent one night to explore the old city fortress and enjoyed our stay. It was a 5 minute walk to the main gate and there are several restaurants easily accessible in or outside the main gate. We appreciated having a secured parking spot, and although the room was small, it was clean, functional, and had a great view of the walled city. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a very good stay.

Excellent service from the staff. Were very patient with our attempts at speaking French and spoke English when required. Breakfast was excellent and served on a looking out over the old Cite of Carcassonne. Room clean and comfortable excellent value for money.

Rooms too small. Showers had no door resulting in bathroom getting soaked. Absolutely no storage space. Only two electrical outlets
