Staff were very welcoming and tasty good value food. Comfortable bed and good tea and coffee facilities. Good quality toiletries and fluffy towels. We grabbed a couple of croissants and a granola/ yoghurt pot from the self service before heading out to the airport early morning. Although by a busy road, the room's double glazing made it very quiet and we slept really well. Thanks

Room excellent, food good

Room was spotless Breakfast - could of been better. Pastries were left out the night before which meant by the morning, it was very dry. Also, there was limited items available. Maybe think of ways where breakfast can be delightful. ie.a coffee machine, fresh cut fruit, cereal, breakfast pots. Not just pastries, fruite and yoghurt.

The rooms were really nice and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was laid out at 9pm, which I understand due to it being an airport hotel however this then meant that come the morning, there was not much of anything left over. There was 1 pastry left at 7.30am, and no staff until around to replenish this.

Great stay perfect for work trip and weekends away food was lovely!

The staff and food and service was outstanding and because I travel regularly on business and pleasure, and would like to stay again at this wonderful hotel, unfortunately my room lights seemed dodgy because they kept flickering whenever I used the light switch, plus also the toilet seat fixing had been botched up with tape and was practically falling off!

Our late arrival due to flight delays was overcome efficiently. Very comfortable room & an enjoyable breakfast.

Lovely staff, nicely furnished and good continental breakfast. Room a little noisy with window open so go for a room at the back of pub. Food sounded good but we didn’t have time to sample. Overall very good

Within a small village town a good stay, food and drink😊

The stay was overshadowed by the lack of breakfast. We stayed overnight following a 60th birthday celebration. One of the thing we were looking forward to was the “Breakfast served daily until 10:30”. This is actually a not very interesting selection of help yourself breakfast cereals, yogurts, bread, day old croissants, hot water for tea or coffee. Certainly not the breakfast we were expecting and not a member of staff insight. If we were aware that this was The George’s idea of “Breakfast served daily until 10:30” we would have booked somewhere else. Very disappointing😔.
