The staff are amazing. I think his name was james. He was so lovely when we checked in and he carried our bags upstairs when the lift was broken. The room was a little hot, but the fan was provided. Just a shame that the lift was broken.

My son had a great experience staying at the hotel, he has a smooth check in and check out and found the place to be in ideal location.

Hi, always a great welcoming at this hotel will all members of staff when I stay there. Booked on Sunday 31st May arrived in the afternoon and was greated by lovely young lady call Chanel very chatty as always I can remember from last time I stay she's doing a great job. Okay hotel can do with little pick meups like shower floor towel cleaning but all different colours though bleach, Pillow I think the hole of the hotel needs new one's, with Pillow protection cases because you can smell someone's swet and mouth dribbles on them not a very good thing to get good night sleep. But as I can really say its comfortable clean good to have microwave and fridge it's a great hotel.

Clean, central for shopping etc, reasonably priced secure parking at Q parks Forum 3 mins walk from hotel.

Mattress and pillows were the worst part about the stay, the mattress was thin and compressed so hard it was impossible to sleep on the side as it was like sleeping on the bed base. Pillows were either hard and lumpy or no substance to them. I’ve left with very little sleep and bad neck and back. On arrival the WiFi was down and the lift didn’t work. Bathroom smelt of urine so strong I was avoiding using it. The carpet was sticky and thread bare in places. General cleanliness and condition of the room left a lot to be desired. There was a power cut during my stay, not the hotel’s fault, but no emergency lighting in the bedrooms. Which meant being sat in the dark for hours, there was lighting in the corridors, this should be expected in the rooms too for safe navigation to the bathroom.

Close to all shops, bars and restaurants. Free WiFi and friendly staff. The fridge, microwave and plates and cutlery were brilliant extras.

I have stayed as this hotel many many time and never had problem, but this time the pillows was a little bit on the smelly side from over peoples swet and dribbling, made be buy some new ones.

The room was in excellent condition, clean and large. Bad side is the TV cable connection was very poor with very few channels to choose from. The reason for four Stars.

Room was fine but bed was very uncomfortable- hard- so unable to sleep.

The room was spotless and comfy. Only downside was the elevator that was out of order, going up and down 3 flights of stairs a few times was tasking.

Had a good stay, room was big and clean and women on the front was very helpful, lent me iPhone charger that I forgot to bring, so really appreciated it

This turned out to be a well run private hotel - i.e. not one of the major chains, but to a similar standard. The usual facilities were present, including fridge, microwave, kettle and hair dryer, with en suite bathroom. I read a negative review from some time back, but had no difficulty in December 2025. Breakfast involved getting 10% discount at the cafe (Poppins) across the road. It was also convenient for the train and bus stations.
