The hotel was appauling wibdows would not open shower door would not close booked for three nights only stayed one night defininately would not reccomend if you like eggs for breakfast boiled scrambled or poached thats fine no bar what so ever the photos are very misleading nothing like the actual rooms

Good location.Not expensive you get what you pay for, breakfast was good.

Staff was very very rude we wait there at-least 1.5 hour for check in because staff was sleeping in their room. I forget my keys in room once and asked staff to help they say no one forget keys here why you forget he is very very rude extremely bad experience.

Room was clean, informative staff, upgraded my room to sea view room too. Continental breakfast was also included, which was lovely. Room had hairdryer and a kettle, also had a bath which I loved. Great location

Good location on the seafront and reasonable price. Breakfast was average at best. Better cleaning efforts would be my suggestion

Positives. The staff were polite and helpful, we enjoyed the breakfast cereal’s fruit yogurt but no meat or cheese. And 2 eggs on toast. We had booked a Sea View which was excellent. The location was excellent. Overall we enjoyed our stay and was value for money. Paid parking on main road. Negatives. The hotel in general is a little dated and could do with an upgrade. We had a large room but the shower room was very small and cramped, the cubicle was very small and toilet was jammed in a tight corner. The shower tray leaked onto the floor. Most elderly and larger people would not be able to use the bathroom.

Iris hotel is our go to location when visiting Llandudno. Right on the seafront, convenient, clean and straightforward. It provides just what we need, somewhere to get washed, comfortable and have a good night's sleep and act as basecamp for our little breaks in the area.

We arrived at the property & when we checked in we was told “upgraded your room” we was meant to stay in the building which was away from the hotel was told “they was doing maintenance on them”, we did not get a good nights sleep as the mattress felt like you was sleeping on concrete slabs. Cleanliness & staff was great

Iris Hotel is well.sotuated for the North Shore prom. It's a bit dated, and the beds were rock-hard, like sleeping on a table. The family rooms are directly off of the bar area (though this was closed) and main lobby. The lack of fans/Aircon compounded these issues and meant for a very sleepless night. The breakfast options were very limited.

Staff were kind. Bedding clean. However, the room was very dusty, headboard ripped, shower had to hold it to use it, we found the bed to be very uncomfortable.

Hotel was a good price and in a good location . The 3 rooms we had we at best only ok . Our room the hand held shower head didn’t work and the overhead was close to the wall so ran onto a glass shelf so made it very difficult to shower in . One of the other rooms had all mould in the silicone around shower try so they wouldn’t use it . The 3rd room all the leatherette was worn off the headboard and looked really dirty . Needs headboard changing urgently. We were only there 1 night so we made the most of it , but won’t be coming back .

The Iris hotel was not my standard of cleanliness. The shower had that much black around the bottom of the shower had to buy bleach and put round outer edge and it came up clean. There were cobwebs on the ceiling. Pillows looked very old and lumpy but always take my own anyway. Breakfast was included but didn’t eat anything or made a cup of tea we ate out. I would not visit there again. Only thing was good were very white towels and quilt cover white. We only lay on top of bed it was so hot.

This hotel does not match the description. It is the shabbiest building that I saw on the Promenade. Is not expensive, but that shouldn't be used as an excuse for how dirty and poorly maintained it was. In my room there was damp on the ceiling from an old leak, and mould and fungus growth was well established, so it hasn't just happened. The wardrobe door was falling off, there were homes in the walls, and the carpet was grubby. Not a pleasant experience at all!

A great location - room generally clean except for mold in shower room - sealant needs replacing Dated furniture and carpets But was ok for a one night stay at a budget price Bed was rock hard if you like that Overall ok for what I needed

It's all ok, standard . Breakfast was nice
