Very friendly and helpful staff. Room basic but did what it said on the tin. Had a private bathroom and if u wanted tea and coffee down on the ground floor as much as you wanted Will definitely stay again

Good location just off seafront and cheap but room served a purpose, nothing more. A bed, TV and a fan. No tea making facilities, only one double plug socket and bathrooms in the hallway were quite run down. Arrived late afternoon but one shower room floor was still soaking wet. Small communal downstairs lounge with a TV, drinks vending machine and coffee station. Think school dinner hall more than cosy bar. Coffee, sugar in cannisters not individual sachets. Forecourt parking very limited for just a handful of cars and all surrounding streets subject to 3hr permit parking only. Guests can purchase 24hr permit for £4.50 but will likely need to park several streets away as no spaces anywhere. WiFi code available but not particularly good. The need to provide both a physical bank card and valid photo ID to check in felt excessive and open to identify theft risks. Unlikely to return.

Located close to seaside, shops and pubs. We were happy with the location and facilities. Shared kitchen was well maintained and clean. Comfy bed. The room we booked was excellent for our one night stop. There is no lift but staircase is wide enough for suitcase with ease. Nearby Garden Restaurant was very good for gluten free breakfast. On site free parking and inexpensive 24hr street parking.

We stayed here for one night, the hotel is in a great location, we found it peaceful, clean and comfortable, the guy that runs it is so helpful and very jolly, we were very pleased that our touring bikes could be safely stored in a locked back yard with no proplems, I paticularly liked that there is a community tea coffee station, with sweetie vending machine and table and chairs to eat grub if you didn't fancy going out and disposable cutlery, thank you for a pleasent good value hotel

Room clean but bed extremely soft not good if have back problems. First time ever hotel with shared bathroom it was very disappointing that others can clean toilet after themselves not even pull chane after number 2s disgusting 2nd time left fesias on toilet seat . Not hotel fault but the guest maybe good idea put notice board stating leave clean after use ill never book shared bathrooms ever again

Very friendly and helpful staff,nice location,nice and quiet

The room was very clean and reception staff extremely helpful. I particularly liked using the facilities in the dining room to make breakfast - fridge, microwave, sink and kettle. There are five parking spaces at the front, and the location is not far from the sea or Southsea town. I was travelling alone and felt very safe staying at this hotel. The price was also very reasonable. Would stay here again.

This is not a hotel. It's a hostel.

Despite booking this hotel in February you sent me an ‘ update your payment ‘ I had to do it by the 20th. I have an email from you confirming receipt of same on 19th. Having driven for 6 hours I was turned away. Please let me know you to complain to your ombudsman or do I need a solicitor? Obviously I will not be using them or you again . I need to be reimbursed with costs ( bank holiday weekend so.EVERYTHING booked out. Kind regards Mary

Wonderful stay!

This hotel was clean and staff friendly, it was in a good location and had parking which is great. Only downside was you had to go downstairs to get a cup of tea or coffee, no tea making facilities in the room.

There was nothing to like ... the photos and description on line are misleading and false. We found alternatives accommodation so never even stayed at this hotel.

Great location two minutes walk from the seafront. Functional premises, no frills, room was clean and comfortable. There are NO ensuite facilities here, large kitchen area with fridges, microwave, kettle and toaster. Very acceptable for a short undemanding stay.
