I was a bit nervous at first as I have never stayed in a community setting like this, but it worked out perfectly. The owner was there to great the guests on the night that I showed up, but I also found it very easy to get in by myself after reading all his great online information. The room was small and cozy but exactly what I needed and wanted. Great bed, very close restroom and kitchen. Full size refrigerator to be used by all the guests. The main entry area was a bit humid, but my room was perfectly cool with the window open at night. Wifi was plenty fast, no TV, but made for a really great night of sleep. Hey there! So, the place was super tidy, and this really nice guy welcomed me right when I got there. He showed me around and was happy to give me all the deets I needed. Oh, and the kitchen? It was totally stocked!My bedroom was a little on the small side, but since there were other rooms open, I bet they come in different sizes! I can totally see myself staying there again with my family down the road if we need to. I'd absolutely recommend it and want to send a big thank you to the staff!

The property was clean and located very close to the train that takes one downtown. The neighborhood is great. The managers were quick to respond to my questions and very patient and helpful. PLEASE carefully read the description of what you are booking. I thought I was booking a private room and ended up on a bunk bend in a room with three men I did not know; they slept on the top of my bunk and on the other bunk bed in the room. It all turned out fine but it was a bit of a shock to expect to be in a private room and find out I was in a dormitory. READ carefully.

I was unaware that this was a shared bunk room - two stacked bunk bed pairs, little privacy, noisy: The bed above us squeaked loudly (likely springs) each time the incumbent moved. Virtually no sleep that night. The entire house is aging with few upgrades (likely 1960's vintage), waist-high grass & weeds all over the back yard. I will NOT return.

The house is in a great location near there train station that takes you to the downtown and near highway if you prefer to drive. The host was great, helpful and friendly. It was easier to find the house and get all the instructions on how to get in and find the room. There was plenty of necessary supplies in a house, it was quiet and cozy.

I like so much tuscan guest house ! If I will go there next time I want to stay there again

Clean room and shared bathroom with other guests. Kitchen was a huge perk to use. We used it to cook everything for camping so it would only need a quick reheat over the fire. Would highly recommend

Very polite and helpful host. Property was nice and well maintained.

Perfect stay for the night we had. Only disappointment was not being notified that the road directly in front of of the house was closed due to a water main repair. Not a major issue as there was parking nearby but would have been helpful to know ahead of time.

Didn't realize it was a dormitory, first night was quiet enough, second night the person staying was sick all night and I could not fall asleep. 100% will not return

Staff owner were good at helping navigate. Beds in hostel room are too close together glad I only had 1 roommate for a short time. I Only stayed for a short time.

Prepare to share the bathroom with strangers.

Carpets on the staircases could use a clean. Shared bathroom presented a challenge.

Bunk beds were great

The property does not show that it's a hostel with a room shared with strangers. I was shocked when I arrived. I left immediately and did not get a refund.

It worked great for what I was in Calgary to do for the price. Helpful responsive staff.

The pictures of this property are not accurate. The room that I stayed in was designed for a hostel. Even at that there was no room to navigate where you needed to get in. I was in a room with 3 other men! Had I known this I never would.have booked there. The owner had so many rules that were posted all over the house, which is something you would post for grade schoolers. "If you go.number 2 squirt the air freshener only 3X as it is super concentrated". Ridiculous, the downstairs guest were not to use the upstairs kitchen nor the fridge upstairs.
