The location is strategic, with cafes and restaurants nearby, within walking distance. I stayed Saturday and Sunday, breakfast excluded, and booked a deluxe room. Oh my God, it was surprisingly spacious for me, staying alone.
Everything was fine until Sunday morning.
I'm so sorry. This kind of thing can happen anytime, to anyone. So I'm just sharing my experience, not trying to be offensive. 🙏 Because I had an exam, I had to check out at 8 AM. At around 7:20 AM, the water was out. I called reception, and they said it was being repaired, and it would take about 30 minutes. As compensation, I was asked to come down for breakfast. I needed the water for a shower, not breakfast. If I hadn't called, I wouldn't have received any compensation, and I don't know what it was; I wasn't notified if I didn't ask. As a result, I still checked out at 8 AM, without breakfast.
Well, no one knows when disasters will strike. For future evaluation, perhaps regular maintenance should be given more attention. If there's trouble like that, there could be two receptionists on duty to maximize efficiency. One can respond to complaints, the other can focus on guests checking out. At the very least, guests should be notified, even if they don't ask. They might be surprised when they need something quickly and can't get it.
Hopefully, things will improve in the future. Good luck to everyone.
