Property is unique, like a time capsule/living museum that's beautifully preserved, from the tiles to the wrought iron and historical photos throughout the common areas. . The view from the balcony over the Amazon is incredibly memorable. The manager, Francisco, went out of his way to ensure we had a memorable stay and helped out with booking transportation and anything else we needed. When we mentioned it was our son's birthday, he even decorated our hotel room door and had a birthday cake waiting for us when we returned from our day out! While the rooms aren't the highest level of luxury, they're spacious and clean and absolutely fit our needs. It's about a 5 minute walk to the plaza de armas
