We arrived by car to Montreal. The area around the hotel is undergoing massive construction and there were no clear signs on how to access the hotel. Most decent hotels will email you in advance letting you know there's construction and how to navigate that. Not Moxy. Upon check-in, when I asked why they didn't simply send a message on how to access the hotel, they said "This is Montreal." No apology, no "sorry for the inconvenience." Nothing.
I requested my room be cleaned but when we got back it hadn't been touched. I asked the front desk and they gave me a lecture on how if I left anything on the bed they wouldn't clean the room and if the towels were hanging, they also wouldn't. It's not my first time at a hotel, and we hadn't left anything on the bed and we had put our towels on the floor. No apology, no "sorry for the inconvenience." Nothing. When they made up the room, they didn't replenish the coffee and left fewer towels than before.
The room was nice, but bare minimum amenities in the room. There wasn't even a place to hang clothes, no closet or wardrobe.
Overall, I would not stay here again.
