Beaverfoot Lodge – Honest Review 1. The cabin was not properly cleaned – there was mud all over the floor and cobwebs around the house. 2. Our kids found a used syringe needle in a corner of the house (no photo, unfortunately). 3. At night, mice were running around inside the house looking for food (we have video proof). 4. They advertised a BBQ grill, but it’s not located at your cabin – you need to walk 2–5 minutes to the reception area to use it, depending on which cabin you're staying in. We experienced a power outage for around 10 minutes during our stay. Major issue: The water heater broke. We contacted the staff at 8:00 PM and waited until 11:00 PM for someone to show up. After trying for 30 minutes, they couldn’t fix it and just said “sorry” before leaving. That night, all 8 adults and 2 toddlers (under 4 years old) had to take freezing cold showers. The next day, they offered a $100 compensation and promised to transfer it to our account. After following up for over a month and getting ignored repeatedly, we never received it. Summary: Poor cleanliness, safety concerns, unreliable facilities, and extremely unprofessional customer service. The lack of follow-through on promised compensation shows a serious lack of integrity. Would not recommend.
