The place is absolutely amazing, it is truly like staying in a tree house.. the staff is super friendly, you have kayaks available and the excursions on the lagoon and great. If you can, do get the rooms with the lagoon view, the sunrise from between the foliage gets reflected on the water and it’s truly magical, i’m definitely coming back

Great accommodation with private lagoon access. Small restaurant onsite for breakfast (maybe just burgers and salads for day menu). Hotel restaurant 30 seconds away sells beers and has larger menu. Or 20ish minute walk to town. Would go back, so nice to be right on the lagoon

We loved our stay at BoaBoa. Our hut named "Colibri" was private and spacious with all the necessary amenities. We really appreciated the staff, who were helpful and proactive even prior to our visit. While on site, they communicated daily via WhatsApp to inquire about our needs and comfort. The property is on the outskirts of town and is best accessed with a vehicle and you can hear the highway from the property. We enjoyed being next to the lagoon: sunrises, swimming, and kayaking. We would definitely stay again!

Pros: Attentive, friendly staff. Partial lagoon view from Tapir Room, storing our luggage and letting us use the oceanfront after check-out, the dock was awesome, walkable location from el Centro, simple yet satisfying breakfast. Fan and A/C options. The property is gorgeous. Cons: room is a bit weathered, smelled musty/moldy, corner near A/C looked moldy, window swollen so couldn’t open much, lack of attention in housecleaning and maintenance (ashtray overflowing from prior guest, freezer compartment overgrown with ice and cutting into fridge space, some furniture in need of repair). Perhaps other rooms were better maintained due to their full lagoon view and higher cost. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but the mold smell/look was concerning.

What a lovely experience. Fresh-made fruit and granola delivered to the room for breakfast, a private dock on the lake, and invredible decor, all at a reasonable price.

The property and rooms are so unique! The docks and kayaks are very nice.

Room was not what we expected for the price we paid! Stuff was not helpful, there was an issue of an over charge from their bank and they didn’t put any effort to help solve the issue !

Fantastic design, cool amenities (kayak), amazing location (in front of the lake), healthy breakfast. Only complain would be that depending on the room, given the wood, it can be noisy if you have neighbors.

The room was cozy and clean with a fantastic view of the forest and lagoon. All the staff was very friendly and helpful as well. We enjoyed the breakfast hand delievered every morning and were very pleased with how tidy our room was after staff came in to clean. Overall it was a fantastic place and we would definitely stay here again!

Nos gustó el trato de Anita la recepcionista, siempre atenta y amable a nuestras necesidades. Lo que podría mejorar el hotel es que tienen perritos lo cual es muy agradable pero a veces en el jardín se percibía un olor a pipi del perrito, eso sería lo único a mejorar.

I’ve stayed at BoaBoa quite a few times now and I always enjoy going back. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, super private and on the water . What else could you ask for. A true hidden gem 💎.

My girlfriend and I had an excellent stay here. The rooms were very comfortable, and next to the lagoon. Views from the room and the property are amazing. The lagoon is a treasure, and didn't disappoint. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was amazing, and that we had everything we needed.

Boa Boa was our favourite stay this vacation. All of the staff were so welcoming and helpful. The property is beautiful and all of the rooms were wonderful. We had the best sleep in the king sized beds! Having access to the water and some free kayaks really added such a bonus to our trip. I highly suggest getting up early to watch the sunrise and do a little paddle. There was lots of street parking for our car and the neighbourhood was very quiet. We look forward to our next day at Boa Boa and can’t wait to see what these amazing folks do next with their artistic talents.

Everything at Boa Boa was amazing. From the accommodations, scenery breakfast delivered in a basket to your door was perfect for our 3 night stay.

Boa boa is a beautiful property which is unique. The location is close to town but not really easily walkable due to the nature of the road which makes it a little inconvenient. Free kayaks were brilliant for sunrise. Breakfast is beautifully presented but unfortunately not to my partner's taste. Would have been better to provide an option on check in for what to deliver such as just additional toast/spreads instead of the oat and fruit bowl as it was ultimately wasted each morning. Room was comfortable, but very small, needed to unpack and repack bags on the deck. The WhatsApp communication was great and had we stayed longer we would have definitely chosen some of the activities on site. The boat trip organised through hotel was lovely.

Enjoyed my stay at BoaBoa, very relaxing; the only thing I would recommend is getting a stronger Wi-Fi connection. I will definitely be back !
