Great rooms, comfy beds, slept brilliantly

The Citybox is well situated near supermarkets, restaurants and attractions. I like the minimalist concept of the facility. Staff are honest. I left my wedding band and they contacted me on how I can have it back. Thank you.

The check in and out were simple. Having the laundry was brilliant.

Het is een fonkelnieuw hotel en alles is mooi en fris. De kamer was enorm gehorig, of ik had lawaaiige buren maar je hoorde continue mensen lopen. De bedden waren te zacht naar mijn smaak, maar het meest vervelend was dat de kamer erg warm was en airco niet reageerde. Slechte nacht gehad.

Great location to walk and explore Kristiansand. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The place lack basic of basics hospitality for the cost

The entrance was totally blocked by construction. View of the door was obstructed and there were no posted signs. It was unclear where the hotel was and if it was open. No parking. Hotel also had a strong food odor. Rooms were not as pictured.

Construction outside was loud and early (but that's temporary). No parking so had to find street parking a few blocks away. Kind of a pain. Staff was very friendly.

There is a construction just outside, 10metres away and from 7am they start hammering...ear plugs are provided at the check in but you can still hear the hammers

Room was spacious. Bathroom is badly designed- the water flows out of the shower stall on one side as there is an opening between the door and the floor. The faucet handle on the sink is so long that you cannot bend down to wash your face in warm water without hitting your face to it! The shared fridge and eating area is good to have though.

The place was a comfortable place to stay and would be okay for a night or two where it’s one of the lower cost options. The rooms are very small but this was as expected. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location is great for walking through the town. Street parking was available for free overnight.
