I swear, this is actually really worth it for that price. But unfortunately, I got a pretty small room. Maybe because the check-in was a bit late. Initially, the lady offered me rooms on the 4th floor and on the 1st floor, but the one on the 1st floor had a big AC but it wasn't cold. Since my parents were with me, the lady probably felt sorry for me, so she offered me another room on the 1st floor, but yeah, it was really small, even for praying it was a bit tight. But the staff was very helpful and the room was clean, really nice.

The room comfort and cleanliness were quite good, but the staff service was lacking, when I asked about laundry services, they said there were none for guests, only for the hotel, then I asked where the nearest laundry was from the hotel, the staff said they didn't know.

Good service, comfortable and cheap rooms

Actually, it's not entirely the hotel's fault, but it was just unlucky when we just got the AC and entered the room, the electricity went out and there was no generator in the hotel. Imagine how hot it would be during the day in Surabaya without AC. The only minus from the management is that not a single employee went directly to the room, explained the condition, what they would do (either compensate the guest, or were looking for a portable fan with batteries). Nothing. The employees just stared blankly and did nothing. Either the building owner was stingy and didn't prepare a generator, or the employees really lacked crisis management capacity.
