My dad and I went on a father/daughter trip. We had a wonderful stay at this riad in the tanneries area of Morocco. The property was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. What really made the experience special was the incredible hospitality from everyone who worked there. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of throughout my stay. The local kids playing on the street are also very sweet! We were about a 15-20 min walk from the main square but One of the workers personally showed me around the area and made sure we felt comfortable navigating to the main square, the souks, and the medina on my own. As a visitor, that extra care and guidance made a huge difference and helped me enjoy the city with confidence. The workers definitely take pride in what they do/the Riad. It’s truly beautiful to see. They have a beautiful terrace with fresh mint there and beautiful flowers and it’s so nice to sit up there and relax, just listening to the locals live their daily life and kids playing on the streets. The warmth, kindness, and genuine concern for guests made this riad feel like a home away from home. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Morocco. When I return, I will definitely be booking this riad again. I want to preface that the photos in the Riad may look dark, we arrived later on in the afternoon around 4 but there’s usually lots of light shining through.

The property was a bit off the beaten path in the older part of the Medina, but it was charming, clean, well maintained and had excellent, helpful staff.

Riad el Fassi was a delightful place to stay for my brief trips to Marrakech. It is located in the older part of the Medina yet close enough to the main road so you need not travel far with your luggage (as cars cannot travel in the Medina). The Medina can be hard to navigate so the Riad sends helpful staff to assist you. Once in the Riad the environment provides a beautiful respite from the hustle and bustle of the market and city. The rooms are quiet, well maintained, and have AC, which worked well as the temps climbed into the 90s. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful in booking taxis, providing guidance, and arranging a healthy breakfast. Riad el Fassi is a great choice when staying in the Medina in Rabat.

The amenities along with the staff were very good my only concern was the location. It was too far from the town and not conducive to walking. Lived the rooftop lounge.

My daughter and I can’t say enough on how much we enjoyed this Riad. The service was outstanding, accommodations were delightful, and the food & tea were delicious. The warmth of the staff have left an imprint in our hearts. We especially loved Haj ( ?) who escorted and guided us when needed . The only thing to be aware of its very close to the tannery’s so the air isn’t too pleasant when working and transportation is 20euros.
