Description: Waterbom Bali offers thrilling, challenging water plays more suitable for teenagers and adults.
If you want to try the best waterpark in Asia, visit Waterbom Bali. This waterpark earned Asia’s Leading Waterpark title from World Travel Award 2018. The waterpark sits in a 3.8-hectare of land, surrounded by lush tropical trees. The waterpark has thrilling water plays in three levels: moderate, mellow, and extreme. Most of the water play areas are more suitable for adults than children.
Waterbom Bali is situated on Kartika Plaza Road in Kuta. The waterpark is close to several popular destinations, such as Discovery Shopping Mall and Tuban Beach. Travellers who are staying in Kuta can walk to this waterpark. You can rent a car to reach this waterpark from Ubud or Seminyak. Waterbom Bali becomes a favourite destination for good reasons. Its water sanitation system keeps your skin from drying out. The waterpark is also clean and well-designed, with complete facilities such as lockers and towel rental. Its food court serves delicious foods, snacks, and beverages at affordable prices.
Mellow-level water plays offer the least thrill, suitable for all ages. Waterbom Bali has two mellow-level water areas, which are:
Imagine letting yourself gently floating in a river with a soft stream, surrounded by lush trees. If this image makes you feel relaxed, you should try the Lazy River. This long, stream pool takes you to a relaxing trip on a large ring float. Lazy River is suitable for children and adults.
Funtastic is a child-friendly shallow pool suitable for your little ones. The pool has a playground construction in the middle. It has a water cannon, slides, wheels, ropes, and a giant bucket that splashes everyone with water periodically. The pool holds an international standard for safety. However, children under 6 years old still need supervision when playing here.
Moderate-level water plays are more suitable for those who want thrills, but not at an extreme level.
Constrictor currently holds a record for the longest waterpark slide in the world. The slides are curved like a large python, with an impressive length of 250m. Make sure you hold tight when sliding down the Constrictor, especially since some of the curves almost form a 90-degree angle. Before you slide down the Constrictor, the staff will give you a large float that accommodates one to two people. Avoid eating heavy food before playing to prevent nausea.
Python is perfect for sliding down with your friends. This tunnel slide makes you look like being swallowed by a snake. You can slide down with a large float that has a four-people capacity. Each person must be at least 1 m tall, and the total weight of everyone should not excess 240kg.
Extreme-level water plays at Waterbom Bali will challenge the bravest visitors with their thrilling rides.
The climax is a near-vertical slide that “drops” you in a standing position. The top part of the slide has a trapdoor with glass enclosure. The staff will do the countdown until the trapdoor opens and sends you to a vertical plunge. The speed can reach 2.5 G-Force, making everyone who tries it scream.
Smash Down 2.0 is similar to Climax, with a trapdoor that plunges you downward. However, the slide has 60-degree inclination and 27m of height. You can reach 70km/hour speed when using it, reaching the bottom part of the slide in just several seconds.
Boomerang is one of the most popular extreme slides at Waterbom Bali. You will slide down in high speed and abruptly meet a pipe shaped like a quarter or a barrel. The shape will pull you back quickly. If you slide down with a few friends, you will be able to reach the maximum height in this part of the slide.
Ticket prices for Waterbom Bali vary, ranging between Rp289,000 and Rp961,000. You can choose between a single day and family day pass, depending on the numbers of people.
