About Borghese Gallery

Surround yourself with art and beauty at the world-famous Borghese Gallery! Housed in an elegant 17th-century villa, the gallery contains some of the greatest works of renowned masters, including Bernini’s The Rape of Proserpina, Caravaggio's Boy with a Basket of Fruit, and Raphael’s The Deposition. Those particularly interested in artworks from Ancient Rome, Renaissance, and Baroque periods will lose themselves in the paintings, sculptures, and antiquities spread across 20 rooms.

After laying eyes on some of the masterpieces, visitors can surround themselves with the most elegant landscape of the Borghese Gardens. Don't forget to visit the Pincio Terrace for an exceptional view of Rome!

Borghese Gallery offers free admission every first Sunday of the month. This is often the busiest time to visit and visitors need to call the venue beforehand.
