－What You Can Expect－

Explore Setouchi International Art Festival, held on a dozen of islands on the Seto Inland Sea. The area used to be an important transportation route, buzzed with the unique local culture. However, it has suffered from depopulation in the last few decades. Setouchi Triennale, with its theme "Restoration of the Sea", aims to revive the island communities by bringing vivid art scene into place.

Inspired by the local culture and landscape, several high profile Japanese artists create works in various art forms that speak to the theme. Select from three seasons sessions and tour around 12 islands and 2 ports. See charming and intriguing arts while you soak in the laidback atmosphere on these picturesque islands. Each island has its lifestyle, custom and art form, so be sure to see them all!

Single Season Passport - Summer Session
・Eligibility: visitors age 18 and above
・Validity: July 19 to August 25, 2019
・Provides admission to Triennale artworks and facilities during the summer session
※ The sale period of summer session passport starts after the spring session

Single Season Passport - Autumn Session
・Eligibility: visitors age 18 and above
・Validity: September 28 to November 4, 2019
・Provides admission to Triennale artworks and facilities during the autumn session
※ The sale period of summer session passport starts after the summer session

The 3 Season Passport
・Eligibility: visitors age 18 and above
・Validity: November 8, 2018, to November 4, 2019
・Provides admission to Triennale artworks and facilities during all three sessions

・Please select the date you wish to redeem the passport, no change or cancelation will be granted once the booking has been confirmed
・Please note that the reservation date would be the ticket redemption date
・Please note that the ticket does not include Chichu Art Museum and Teshima Art Museum. Reservation is necessary for Chichu Art Museum, please refer to http://benesse-artsite.jp
・The Triennale Passport provides one visit per site. Please note that re-entry is not allowed
