If you’re on a DIY trip, from Puerto Princesa City, you can rent a tricycle that will take you to Sta. Lourdes Wharf where the boats are docked. If you booked your tour with a travel agency, transportation is usually provided. Once you arrive, you’ll need to proceed to the Tourism Information Office to register and wait for your boats. Once your boat is ready, you’ll begin the island hopping tour.

Island hopping is best done when the air is warm and the sun is shining. And that’s usually during the summer in the Philippines. The best time to go to Honday Bay is from late March to early June. the weather is mostly sunny with very seldom rainy days. Since you’ll be riding a boat, this is also a perfect time because the water will be mostly calm and manageable. You can take your fill exploring the great outdoors and trying out all the water activities that are available during the tour.
