Tour Itinerary
•
06:30-07:30 Pick up at your hotel located in designated pick-up areas. If your hotel is located outside of the pick-up area, please make your own way to the designated meeting point.
•
07:30-10:00 Depart from the meeting point for participants that stay in the hotels located outside of the designated pick up area
•
10:00-10:30 Arrive at Kanchanaburi and make the first stop at War Cemetery where more than 6,000 fallen soldiers and prisoners of war are rested
•
10:30-12:00 Trace the historic path of the Death Railway on a train ride traveling over the original wooden rails constructed by Allied prisoners of war held captive by the Japanese
•
12:00-13:30 Arrive at Tham Krasae station and take a lunch break and later on go sightseeing
•
13:30-14:40 Take a train heading back to River Kwai station
•
14:40-15:30 Visit JEATH War Museum which tells the local history during WWII. Inside the museum you will see parts of the trains from the Death Railway
•
15:30-18:30 Head back to Bangkok
•
18:30-19:30 Drop off at your hotel in designated areas, or at the original meeting point

Kanchanaburi might not be the first that comes to mind while visiting Thailand but it is breathtakingly beautiful with rich nature and local history. On this tour, you will take a fun and educational trip to Kanchaburi.
Kanchanaburi played an important role during WWII and with it comes tragic history as Allied prisoners of war were forced to build the Death Railway. You will be learning more during your visit at War Cemetery and at JEATH War Museum which contains original parts of the train from the Death Railway. You will also get to take a train ride over the original wooden rails of the Death Railway and marvel at the view along the way.
