In certain cases of flight changes, passengers may receive direct notification from the airline before Traveloka's official announcement.
Here's what you need to know and what you can do if that happens:
In this case, we recommend referring directly to the information provided by the airline, as it will be the most accurate and up to date. You will have to wait a while for the Traveloka app to reflect those updates and provide alternative solutions.
If the new flight time doesn't work for you, you can request a reschedule immediately. To request a reschedule, you can access the feature through your e-ticket. Tap the reschedule option, then follow the instructions to make the request.
Similarly, if the changes are inconvenient and you do not wish to reschedule, you may request a refund right away. To request a refund, you can access the feature hrough your e-ticket in the Bookings menu via Traveloka. Tap the refund option, then follow the instructions to make the request. (refer to the red box)
For refund requests arising from flight changes initiated by the airline, please select the refund reason "Cancelled by Airline" or “Rescheduled by Airline” based on the changes you experienced—to ensure your request is processed according to the appropriate procedures for your situation. And, please don’t forget to screenshoot the information you receive from the airline as it will be needed to request a refund.
