Aura on Flinders Serviced Apartments

Very nice hotel at a great price in a great location.

The view from the apartment was spectacular, we could see the lights of the MCG and the flames going off by crown. Although our balcony was tiny, sitting on the lounge suite was perfect to watch the city at night. The lift to get into the parking spot was a bit tricky, you need to line up your car perfectly straight, but once in, we felt that our car was super secure overnight. The gym was great for my son to workout. Overall, a pleasant stay and we'd stay there again. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Well done Aura!

Read some reviews which were a bit negative but the budget serviced apartment (9th floor) was perfect. Yep the room needed a lick of paint and the bed could of been softer but for the price you really cant grumble. Awesome location aswell

The view is excellent. The room itself is quite nice albeit a fairly small space. The bathroom is tiny; very underwhelming for the price range. The room was very hot overnight with no temperature control available. Our stay was comfortable enough.

Good location to Southern Cross train station. These are NOT serviced apartments. Cleanliness was much to be desired. Couch was old and stained. It was very noisy, we had a one bedroom balcony and obviously the windows are not double glazed. Having the washing machine and dryer was excellent. Was an easy walk to Southgate.

Great room setup with everything you need to be self sufficient - excellent location too, close to everything for dining, transport and activities! Highly recommend!

Room was noisy

We were pleased with the competitive pricing of the apartment, especially given its convenient location. However, we were ultimately disappointed with our stay due to several issues that fell short of basic expectations. We booked the apartment for five adults, fully aware that one of the sleeping arrangements would be a fold-out bed. Unfortunately, what was provided was not a proper bed but a fold-out chair, which lacked a mattress and was extremely uncomfortable—completely unsuitable for an adult. In addition, when we went to have breakfast, we found the cutlery to be dirty, which was both off-putting and unhygienic. We expected clean and usable kitchenware as a basic standard. The most concerning issue, however, was discovered on the morning of our departure. As is our usual practice, we stripped the beds and were horrified to find that one of the mattress protectors had a large, visible urine stain. This level of cleanliness is unacceptable and left us feeling quite unsettled. It is difficult to understand how this was missed during the previous cleaning. While we understand that noise or external disturbances may be out of your control, we do expect a minimum standard of cleanliness and comfort when paying for accommodation. We don't usually make complaints, but the condition of the mattress protector and the general lack of cleanliness were truly disappointing. Had we discovered the mattress issue earlier, we would not have stayed. We hope you take this feedback s
