We stayed for 5 nights and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience overall. The first family room we were given was not clean and was in poor condition. The “king bed” was simply two single beds pushed together with no topper, making it very uncomfortable. The carpet was ripped in multiple places, and in one corner it had lifted completely, exposing sharp nail ends, which felt unsafe especially with children. The spa bath also tripped the power every time it was used, so it was unusable. We requested a room change and were offered either a move or a refund for the nights not stayed. We chose to change rooms. The second room was cleaner and an improvement, but it was still very worn, dated, and clearly in need of maintenance. At $325 per night, this accommodation was absolutely not worth the price paid. The only real positives were the location, which was excellent, and the pool, which the kids really enjoyed. Other than that, the accommodation did not meet expectations and offered very poor value for money.

Nice and central. Affordable. Although no aircon in foyer’s, lift and master bedroom. We found a previous guests sock under the couch and bathroom basins and walls were not clean. A face washer or two wouldn’t go astray either. Definitely needs an upgrade but it served our purpose for our weekend.

Check in was satisfactory. $ 200 security deposit appeared high. Resort requires major updating. Condition was poor. Room cleanliness was not up to scratch. Carpet was in poor condition with multiple large marks/stains. Cupboard with jug had crumbs throughout. It took 30 mins to get TV working. Reception was closed from 3pm. Bath/Shower had two very large cracks. Overall disappointed.

Aircon and tv would not work as needed new batteries so went without for a night till reception was back. Apartments weren’t serviced and staying 4 days with no clean towels was not appropriate. Asked for a new towel and was told it would be $3. Carpet was ripped up in hallways and was u safe. Staff were rude and not friendly. Would not recommend staying here for the price! Paid nearly $1100 for 4 nights.

The renovated studio apartment suited my weekend visit perfectly. Great location, comfortable bed were the two main things I was after and The Savannah ticked both boxes. The pool was better than I expected too - clean, uncrowded and perfect temperature, even when shaded by the neighbouring building. The amenities were fairly rudimentary and the hallway needed some maintenance and TLC but overall, the place was great value for the price.
