Room was nice, location was amazing, added balconies were really convenient. Staff was more than accommodating. Having a restaurant in the building was really nice and food was tasty. So many options nearby for sushi, icecream, healthy grocery stores, and transit options. We really enjoyed our time in bondi and this was a nice place to stay!

We had booked three nights at Hotel Bondi. The first night, Thursday, was great. The room was old but ok, location is great. Friday night the DJ kept us awake until 2am. First thing Saturday I spoke to reception about it and he offered us another room, but admitted the sound would be about the same, so we said we wanted to cancel Saturday night. He said we were unlikely to get our money back for saturday night. We'd have to email during business hours. My husband and I went away to think and talk about it, and decided we couldn't do another 2am night so we'd cancel. I emailed the next day and the reply was that we wouldn't get our money back because the websites all state it's a late night venue. I responded with what was on Wotif, which doesn't state that anywhere, and followed up that email a week later, but it's been over a month and they haven't replied so I guess that's goodbye to our money. I do not recommend Hotel Bondi. Definitely not on a Fri/Sat, but I'm really unhappy with how management have just ignored us, even though I was very polite and countered their incorrect argument. Very poorly handled.

The location couldn’t be beat, the staff was great and the room was nicely upgraded! I wish I would have been told about the mechanical noise the entire night that was disrupting to sleep. I saw they provided ear plugs but assumed it was for norma people noise on the street, which I’m used to, but learned the hard way that was not the case. Wouldn’t have heard anything else over the whirling. Other than that amazing place. Very cute old historic boutique.

I stayed here for 5 days and it was fantastic from day one. The staff are very friendly and helpful; my room was very clean and they changed linens everyday; it wasn’t noisy like some reviews have said … perhaps because I was in an inside courtyard room. The location was literally across the street from the beach along with many restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Hotel Bondi!

This is the location for staying in Bondi. Beach views, middle of the town and close to everything. Can get a little noisy in the evening, but that's to be expected when you're in the middle of Bondi. Parking is available which is a huge bonus. Very friendly staff also
