Innisfail Riverfront Motel

Spotlessly clean room. Very comfortable bed with good linen. Air conditioner and fan were running when we entered or room. So cool. Roomy for 2 people. Great kitchen. Easy walk to town and shops. Receptionist guided us to eateries across the road. With air con running did not hear the town noise. Did hear the rain. Innisfail is famous for its rain.

Our room was spotless, amazing fridge!! Bathroom was also spotless. Great spot across the road from the pub for dinner.

This bathroom had a terrible smell of fish. The door locks were flimsy and door chains were missing. No curtains or window coverings and you could see into the room through obscured glass when the lights were turned off. Fighting, shouting and broken glass noises from pub across the street. No parking spots in motel car park and had to park on street. Front door to motel left open and anyone could access from outside. I felt unsafe, checked out at 8.30pm and didn’t stay. Motel owner refused to refund room fee.

The aircon had mold in its vents. And the aircon was extremely noisy. The bed was very comfy

Room was good, but the property was run down

Room was satisfactory, however, bed was very ordinary. The outside stairs were somewhat off putting and felt uncomfortable in the drizzly rain. The location was good for the meal at the pub across the road but was extremely noisey.

Very comfortable. Especially the bed.

Convenient to my outing

Rooms and sheets were musty. After hours access was down a dinghy laneway.

Well positioned in the centre of Innisfail. Basic accommodation but adequate for our stay

Place was ok, just a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom. Tried to keep the door shut but that didn’t help, toilet struggled to flush properly as well

At first iwas going to driveaway, out side looked awful BUT due to the last cyclone they jave startedre doing the rooms and OMG SO GOOD.... so clean, greatshower, and awsome location. Give them a go, look beyond thedamage the xyclone caused...

Could have been a nice stay till later in the evening when I found 4 or more cockroaches running around the room. Spoke with the owner/manager and I had to suggest a different room, which within a minute of opening the door, out came a cockroach. He even tried to kill it. Left me looking for a new place to stay at 10pm. Would be confident to say it’s infested. I’ve had better free camping.
