Functional, clean and met its purpose. Bed very comfort.

Nice and convienent for town restaurants. Rooms very dated some of the steel handrails are a bit sus. But the bed was very comfortable and the ac was quiet and held a cool temp. For the Mackay market is a fair place to stay.

Parking ok. Everything in room old shabby and rusty. Sticky tops. Pool green looked dreadful very disappointing. Staff not friendly. Expensive for no pool. Breakfast poor just packets.

Staff could not have been more helpful.

easy parking, spacious room, pool was great, comfy bed , but shower wasnt the best , only boiling hot or lukewarm seemed to be achievable.

Photos don't reflect the actual dilapidated condition of this hotel. Room had cracks in wall needs painting, smelt and bugs everywhere in the room. This was the worst Hotel I've booked into. Straight away got a refund and went elsewhere

Continental breakfast was included in the price. No room set up for this. Had to go to reception to advise them what you wanted to eat then take to your room(which was upstairs) to eat.We didn't bother. The TV turned off every 30 minutes. It shared a plug with the fridge. Staff at reception were fine. Comfortable bed. Room was clean & spacious but dated.

From the moment we arrived at this Motor Inn, I knew the photos on the website didn't match the current state of the premises. The staff member behind the reception desk was oblivious to the fact that the information on their website was incorrect and he didn't believe me. Their "continental breakfast" was laughable!!! I have had many continental breakfast's in the past and this Motor Inn's excuse for a "continental breakfast" WAS RIDICULOUS & A SCAM!! When we opened the door into our room (21), I've never been so shocked in all my life and the price that I paid for it, also made me more furious about it all. -In the room the paint on the ceilings incl the bathroom were peeling off, the curtains were oddly place on the wall and were NOT block out curtains, the security lights shone into the room at night, the fridge door was rusted and inside the frost building up in the freezer compartment, they had paper plates, bowls, and cutlery, the bedside table lights didn't work, the staff member at the reception had to ACTUALLY buy a set of lamps and physically put them in the room were in, the A/C leaked, the lights above the mirror in the room were blown only 2 worked. -In the bathroom the shower door didn't close, the tiles were cracked, the was no soap holder in the shower, there were holes INSIDE the shower, the bathroom tap NEVER stopped dripping. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! YOU WILL REJECT IT!!! WASTE OF MONEY AND SPACE!!

Close to town, cheap

The hotel is fine for a short stay of one or two nights. It’s comfortable and conveniently located, with easy access to supermarkets and places of interest. However, the cleanliness needs improvement — we found several cockroaches in the room, which was disappointing.

Very dated property in need of an upgrade. Continental breakfast provided was a bonus

The room was in serious need of renovation, (trip hazards and there was NO smoke alarm!) The sheets were clean, the hosts were friendly, the location excellent.

A convenient location. Shower pressure was good. Clean and tidy. Neighbours were a little noisy.

Property is in poor condition. Bathroom had extensive mould, and holes in walls plus broken tiles. Outside of building has damaged walls and doors. Badly in need of renovation or demolition. Bed was good. Not impressed with complimentary breakfast. As builders we are disgusted.Won't go there again
