Roamer St Kilda

A nice hostel with a good location in St Kilda. It's a little walk to the beach, and there's plenty of pubs, restaurants and things to do nearby. Good, clean facilities and friendly staff. It can get a little noisy in the evening. This wouldn't normally be an issue for me as it wasn't particularly late, but I was very jet-lagged and going to bed really early so that did keep me awake a little. Overall, a nice place to stay and I would return again.

Clean, pleasant, late night check in assistance, bathroom supplied with shampoo and conditioner, all great. The pre-paid brekky was just a voucher to the cafe next door so i didn’t need to pay more for that.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth and quick. The location is convenient with access to public transport, shopping, and dining options nearby. I also appreciated the quiet and safe surroundings. The lobby and common areas were clean, and I received a nice welcome gift on arrival. Overall, a good experience—just a couple of small improvements in room amenities would make it even better.

Only compliant is the KAYO app wasn’t working. Staff looked at it but no luck

The Roamer is perfect for travelers looking for community in a foreign place. With plenty to do and a great location, it's hard to find a reason not to stay here. Can't wait to come back!

It's a small apartment, no lift, own luggage. Every time through the public toilet there is a smell out, no one cleans the room every day, may be waiting for the check-out to come. When I checked in, the room was clean and tidy, the staff was kind and safe. The transportation is very convenient, and it is easy to get to the beach and downtown.

Friendly vibes with staff, appreciate the complimentary drink and built-in stuff. Kinda bummer to have only stairs up to 2 floors, but really nice vintage place to live in

It’s lovely

Bathrooms/showers are awkward and in need of renovation. Dorm rooms are nice, but there seemed to be far more inconsiderate guests here than other hostels I’ve stayed at. A dorm mate brought someone home from the bar…….. plenty of nights people came back after midnight slamming things around. The electrical plug by my bed chirped constantly as well. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Hostel seemed pretty run down with windows cracked/broken, water damage in the walls and ceilings of the bathrooms, holes in the walls and cramped quarters. It was pretty walkable to dining and transient options in St. Kilda but that was the only saving grace.

Very straightforward, clean accommodation for a night.

For an oldie like me, this was a great " back packers" experience. Felt very welcome and safe. Thanks Selina's St. Kilda for a very pleasant stay.
