Within walking distance to St Kilda Beach and just a 20-minute tram ride from the city center, the location is absolutely perfect. It’s surrounded by plenty of cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets, yet the area itself remains quiet and peaceful.
The hotel facilities are excellent; the lounge is spacious and relaxing, and the shared kitchen is very well-equipped. My private room was also roomy and comfortable. I was delighted to find that they provided a kettle along with some delicious Melbourne blend tea in the room. The bathroom was spotless, and the overall amenities left nothing to be desired.
Most importantly, the staff were incredibly kind. Even though I’m not very confident in my English, they spoke to me patiently and always greeted me with a smile, which made me feel so welcome.
I would definitely love to stay here again when I return to Melbourne!

Clean, pleasant, late night check in assistance, bathroom supplied with shampoo and conditioner, all great. The pre-paid brekky was just a voucher to the cafe next door so i didn’t need to pay more for that.

You dont get much in your room for things like "amenities" all you have is a kettle and a fridge.
Beach is close by and we could have our dogs with us for a reasonable "pet fee" and no bond made it super convenient and affordable to stay!

A nice hostel with a good location in St Kilda. It's a little walk to the beach, and there's plenty of pubs, restaurants and things to do nearby. Good, clean facilities and friendly staff. It can get a little noisy in the evening. This wouldn't normally be an issue for me as it wasn't particularly late, but I was very jet-lagged and going to bed really early so that did keep me awake a little. Overall, a nice place to stay and I would return again.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth and quick. The location is convenient with access to public transport, shopping, and dining options nearby. I also appreciated the quiet and safe surroundings. The lobby and common areas were clean, and I received a nice welcome gift on arrival. Overall, a good experience—just a couple of small improvements in room amenities would make it even better.

It's a small apartment, no lift, own luggage. Every time through the public toilet there is a smell out, no one cleans the room every day, may be waiting for the check-out to come. When I checked in, the room was clean and tidy, the staff was kind and safe. The transportation is very convenient, and it is easy to get to the beach and downtown.
